UNIONS - GOOD OR NOT SO GOOD?

So much of today's news includes and revolves
around the activities, policies, and philosophies
of unions, from the factory to the schoolroom, to
the public workers' garage, and even in many cases
into our shops and stores.

Having been a member of a couple of unions a
while back, when living and working near York,
Pennsylvania, I'm coming at this subject as one
who has "some" knowledge and experience with
unions. Still, my comments in this blog should
be perceived as being from "a layman", and not
an expert in any sense of the word.

To start, what do you believe was the purpose of
unions when they were first formed? From my
public school education I learned that workers
felt that they needed some "protection" from
their employers, "safety" on the job, "wage
security", and "seniority" guarantees.

There may be other side issues, but I believe
these are the main items addressed:

Protection: By this I mean that a boss or
employer could not demand a workload or
type of work that was unreasonable for each
particular union member.

Safety: Some early workplaces put so much
emphasis on productivity and pumping out
the goods that the welfare of some workers
was put at risk, all for the "almighty dollar".

Wage Security: It was felt that each man or
woman doing a certain job was entitled to
the same basic rate of pay, with perhaps
performance bonuses for the amount of
product or service delivered over and above
"the norm", or standard expectations. Time
with the company also earned advances.

Seniority Guarantees: Whether a person was
"liked" or not, as long as their work record
was meeting acceptable standards, they had a
job. A worker could not be dismissed just
because of their color, creed, religion, dress,
etc., and could be safe in knowing that had
a means of livelihood as long as they made
the effort expected.

You may refine or add to my basic premise,
but to me this is what "value" the unions could
offer and still should be offering their members.

SADLY, there have been those over the years
who have "bastardized" the original meaning
and intent of forming unions.

There are some (many in my experience and
estimation) who, without proper leadership
qualifications, have advanced "through the
ranks" of leadership, and their new-found
positions and powers have gone to their egos,
and have been corrupt in their dealings, not
only with the companies, but with the union
members who they've been elected to repre-
sent, and all too often with the coffers of the
treasuries from dues and pension contributions.

I've seen a few of these fellows who thought
they were "big stuff", strutting around on the
factory floors, acting like they were "God's gift
to the workers"! Upsetting.

Take that minor (humble) beginning of the
position of "Shop Steward" and magnify its
power in the "locals" and the "national office",
and you have a picture of the baser nature of
humanity - corrupt and sinful.

We've all heard the threats and strong words
of some union "presidents" as they try to
throw their "weight" around in both the labor
negotiations and the political scenes. THIS IS
NOT WHAT THE ORIGINAL UNION
FOUNDERS HAD IN MIND!

I didn't mind being a "brother" or member at
the time that I belonged, as I felt secure with
the "power" of ALL of us in agreements with
"the company" or "the corporation". My wages
were higher than I could have gotten if I'd just
walked in off the street and been hired, but at
the same time, that "union dues" deduction on
my paychecks caused a bit of angst now and
then. I would ask myself, "What am I really
getting for my money?".

There may well be a place still for the union,
but as long as sinful, greedy, power-hungry
individuals are allowed to "run the show", we
will question the validity of their existence.

Huge salaries, political appointments, audiences
with high-ranking government people, lavish
parties and suites, costly vacations, etc., have
caused many of us to ask "Do we really want
or need the unions to have such a big and
powerful place in our society today?"

I'm sure there are some good, honest, well-
intentioned men and women who are actively
involved in unions, and many who sit in
positions of leadership, but as in any or all
other areas of life, if there are no checks-and-
balances, no accountability, no honesty,
UNIONS CAN BE BAD, AND SOMETIMES ARE!

A part of the solution, no doubt, would be for
the members of unions to take a more active
part. Ask questions. Offer input. Hold your
local officers accountable. Be willing to take
a position if it presents itself, in the hopes of
"making a difference" for yourself and your
union "brothers".

Yet, our governments also need to oversee
the administration of unions, with respectable
restrictions put on their activities, bookkeeping,
and political involvement.

Without oversight, some members and/or
supporters of unions TEND TO BECOME THUGS,
pushing their "weight" around, and acting as
if they are entities unto themselves, with no
expected rules and regulations of decency and
decorum.

Do I want unions to "go away"? It's tempting to
say "yes", especially when we hear and read of
the graft and evil that some have perpetrated,
but "people of good will" stand to benefit from
unions - IF THEY ARE PROPERLY RUN!

P.S. The motivation for this blog came partly
from an internet experience earlier today,
when I read numerous threats of violence,
damage, and personal harm being directed to
someone who had taken issues with some of
his state's union activities. Sad. No person
or group of persons have the right to confront
another person or persons with whom they
disagree, by stating their intentions to do
them or their properties harm. WRONG!!

SHOULD A CHRISTIAN BE A DEMOCRAT? (Subtitled, Can you be a Christian and a Liberal?)

I know what you're thinking, some of you, "What kind of a question is this?
Why does this have to be an issue? Everybody's "religion" is a matter of person preference. What does that have to do with politics? Doesn't this guy have better things to do or to write about?"

Pegged you, didn't I?

Actually, this subject has been plaguing my mind for a couple of months now, before even getting into it with some special people. Soooo, I've tossed it around in my head (and my heart), trying to put the words together that I believe God wants me to write, in hopes of at least getting you to think about the matter at hand. Be patient, I trust that if you read me all the way through, that you'll understand my message (and God's?) and it will help you to act in a conscientious manner that will soothe your conscience, especially in this tumultuous political climate we're currently experiencing.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a Democrat, a Republican, or a Libertarian. I am not a Socialist, Marxist, Communist, or any other "ist". I AM AN AMERICAN, AND I LOVE MY COUNTRY DEARLY - TIL DEATH, WHENEVER AND HOWEVER THAT OCCURS, EVEN IF IT MEANS "FIGHTING" FOR MY BELOVED U.S.A., ORALLY OR PHYSICALLY!! I am a "natural-born" U.S. citizen, registered to vote, and I DO VOTE! I CARE, and that's why I'm composing this, hopefully with God's direction and assistance.

Now to the business at hand. First, I think we need to have a definition of "What is a Christian?".

Christians were first so-called in the Book of Acts of the New Testament, the Holy Bible, because they not only spoke the name of Jesus Christ regularly, but they lived out His teachings consistently and daily. All that Jesus was, they tried to emulate.
Is that you? How much like Jesus are you? Do you "know" Him? I mean, is He your Saviour and Lord? Have you accepted Him as such?
MY POINT is that it's not enough to just be a WASP, or to be born into a Catholic family, or an Orthodox family, or anything of the sort, BUT THAT YOU MUST INDIVIDUALLY, PERSONALLY EXPERIENCE AN ENCOUNTER WITH THE TRUTH AND REALITY OF THE PERSONHOOD AND GODHOOD THAT IS JESUS CHRIST!

Baptism doesn't cut it. Confirmation isn't enough. First holy communion will not qualify you for Heaven. Church membership will not get you through the "pearly gates". Having a "church wedding" won't seal your eternal destiny, either. As well and good as all of these things may be, YOU MUST BE "BORN AGAIN", AS JESUS TOLD NICODEMUS!!! Whatever that means to you, you have got to have a personal encounter with the Son of God in order to start your life and journey as a Christian!

I KNOW I SOUND PREACHY, AND THAT'S NOT MY INTENT, but for our purposes, we must specify what "a Christian" is, so as not to blur the distinctions that we need to arrive at.

Supposing, then, (and hopefully) that you are a "Christian", how should you conduct yourself in the normal course of living this life?

A Christian is unselfish. A Christian is compassionate. A Christian is tolerant of others. A Christian despises sin and evil. A Christian is generous. A Christian loves life, in all its stages. A Christian is prayerful.
A Christian is loving. A Christian guards his/her speech. A Christian is positive, hopeful, faith-filled. A Christian is loyal. A Christian is a good citizen of his/her country. A Christian is obedient to Holy Scripture. A Christian supports his/her church with offerings. A Christian attends services as often as possible. A Christian is a "good neighbor". A Christian is generally "mild-mannered". A Christian, through the embodiment of the Holy Spirit is "discerning". A Christian is respectful. A Christian is a good parent. A Christian is law-abiding. A Christian respects his/her mind and body and is careful what is put into it. A Christian supports God's "chosen people", the Jews, whether in Israel, or New York, or wherever. A Christian works to improve his family, local government, and national political environment, for the good of all.

I COULD GO ON, AND ON, AND ON, BUT HOPEFULLY YOU'RE STARTING TO GET THE PICTURE.

Hopefully, it's not just Christians that feel, believe, and act these ways, but those of other faiths, as well, though we know it's not always the case.

NOW, TO MY (GOD'S?) POINT: The descriptions given above, however brief (I could have said a lot more), are not just of what a Christian is or ought to be, BUT OF WHAT AN AMERICAN IS OR OUGHT TO BE!!

SADLY, this is NOT THE CASE with all of our county's citizens. There are TOO MANY who "march to a different drummer", or who "hear another tune", and these are those whose basic moral compasses are "tilting towards the South", or the "other pole", away from correctness and civility.

For too long there has been a movement afoot in our great nation to LEAVE THE INTENTIONS AND HOPES OF OUR FOUNDING FATHERS AND ORIGINAL CITIZENS, toward an environment of "laissez faire", or "devil-may-care" government and lifestyle. There are people who DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES OF THEIR ACTIONS, as long as they get their ways, and whatever it is that they want, mainly POSITION, POWER, AND WEALTH, and they are often destructive in their efforts to attain their goals.

DO THESE PEOPLE SOUND LIKE "CHRISTIANS"? DO THEIR ATTITUDES AND ACTIONS SPEAK OF THE SAVIOUR?

I'll leave the answers to these questions for you to decide, but consider, if you will the following:

LIBERALS are selfish, uncaring, have a disregard for others' lives in all of its stages, are intolerant of opposing or differing views, are stingy, are humanistic (thinking their ways are right instead of consulting God), give no mind to being "like Jesus", are hateful, are spiteful, do not usually support "God's chosen people" unless it benefits their agenda, speak with vileness, care little about our country's longevity, are quick to spend monies that are not theirs for causes that are immoral or just wrong, generally do not attend church except for weddings, funerals, or political gain/exposure, are deceitful and cunning, have wrong lifestyles (perverted, alcoholic, loose/immoral, abusers, etc.), and generally have little or no regard or place for holiness or proper living/no use for God or His Son.

I defer the specifics of all of these charges to you, my dear reader. I could very easily have named names and instances, along with policies and sins, but even a cursory reading or hearing of the daily news will tell the story, that is if you really want to know the truth.

TO THE PREMISE OF MY ORIGINAL QUESTION: Who makes the best citizens, Christians or "pseudo-Christians"? Are REAL Christians better citizens because of their unique, personal relationship with God, the Bible, and the Saviour? OR DOES IT MATTER TO YOU? I pray that it does.

WHO ARE YOU ALIGNED WITH?
HAVE YOU GIVEN IT CONSCIOUS THOUGHT?
DOES YOUR PARTY MEMBERSHIP OR POLITICAL VIEWPOINT MATTER TO GOD? TO YOUR COUNTRY? TO AMERICA'S FUTURE?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that non-Liberals are perfect, or all great people or even great Americans. I'm not saying that the Republican Party is "God's party". Nothing of the sort. I'm not even implying that all Democrats are bad citizens or "wrong" for political office or anti-American or anti-God. I'm not suggesting that Libertarians or "Independents" are of no value to our political discourse or direction. WHAT I AM SAYING IS THAT YOU CANNOT DIVORCE YOUR SPIRITUALITY FROM ANY SEGMENT OF YOUR LIFE, INCLUDING YOUR POLITICAL VIEWS AND ACTIVITIES!! All that we are, all of life, HAS ETERNAL CONSEQUENCES, and we need to carefully and prayerfully choose what we believe, why we believe it, and how we should advance our "soulful" tenets in our daily experiences.

I PRAY THAT WHAT YOU'VE READ ABOVE MAKES SENSE, AT LEAST SOMEWHAT, AND THAT I'VE GOT YOU THINKING ABOUT YOUR SPIRITUALITY AND HOW IT RELATES OR SHOULD RELATE TO YOUR POLITICAL STANCES AND EXPRESSIONS.

P.S. - Don't think that I'm condemning any party or all members of a party - that is not my intention at all. I'm simply trying to show the contrast between those who LOVE AMERICA AND AMERICANS and those who love themselves above their country or their countrymen.

BRACE YOURSELF.
ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER.
STAND FAST IN YOUR BELIEFS.
DON'T STRAY FROM YOUR AGENDA.
BE PREPARED FOR "WARFARE".

Up to now the criticism and accusations, including
name-calling and bashing, have been somewhat MILD,

with a half-wit or two whose offices have been jeopardized

"throwing stones" in an effort to weaken your purpose
and resolve.

THEIR GOAL IS TO DISCOURAGE YOU.

THEIR GOAL IS TO DISENFRANCHISE YOU.
THEIR GOAL IS TO GET YOU TO LOWER YOURSELVES
TO THEIR "STANDARDS", or lack of.
THEY INTEND TO INVOLVE YOU IN DISCOURSE THAT
WILL DETRACT AND DISTRACT YOU FROM YOUR MISSION.

Don't let them "win"! Don't let them drag you down into the

hateful and unintellectual abyss that they're in.

KEEP YOUR HEADS HIGH!

KEEP THAT LOOK OF DETERMINATION ON YOUR FACES!

KEEP THAT SMILE THAT IRRITATES THE HELL OUT OF THEM!
KEEP THAT UNITY THAT THEY FAIL TO HAVE!
KEEP YOUR DECORUM AND DON'T USE THEIR LANGUAGE
OF FILTH, DISGRACE, DEBAUCHERY.

REMEMBER HOW YOU STARTED?
REMEMBER "WHY" YOU STARTED?
REMEMBER WHEN YOU GOT INVOLVED?
REMEMBER THE DISGUST THAT PROPELLED YOU TO
"DO SOMETHING"?
REMEMBER "AMERICA" BEFORE OBAMA?

THAT'S WHY WE ENJOIN THE FRAY - TO RETURN OUR

ARE YOU A "COMFORTABLE" AMERICAN?

It's probably not something that you've given any mind
to, the "comfort zone" in which most of us live, but it's a
subject that needs to be addressed, as I pray you'll agree
when you've finished reading this.

HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU? What are you lacking?
Of course some of us are never fully satisfied, no matter
what or how much we have, but I dare say that few, if
any of us are lacking much. Think about it.

Do you have a home? Whether house, apartment, etc.
Do you have a motor vehicle? Car, truck, van, etc.

Do you have a refrigerator? Bet there's food in it.

Does your home have a furnace or means of heating?

Do you have AC where you live and work, etc.?

Do you have a job? Most Americans do. Some more
than 1, sadly. Others scrape by somehow.
Do you have a paycheck? As meager as it may
seem at times, it is a means of substinence.
Do you have an "Access" or foodstamp card?
Do you have money in a bank or IRA or 401K?

FOR THE MOST PART, MOST OF US ARE "COMFORTABLE"!

Are there children in your household? What a blessing.
Are there schools for them to learn and grow in?
Is your neighborhood clean, and quiet, and safe?
Do you and your neighbors get along? Hope so.
Are there family members regularly in your life? Daily?
Are you a "religious" person? Do you attend church?
Is your health stable? Do you have a good doctor?

Are you "free" to come and go?

Do you have vacations, whether at home or away?

Do you have a television?

Do you watch the news? Just for the weather?

Do you watch sitcoms and drama to escape "the news"?

Do you prefer NOT to know what's happening in the world?

(Some days I know the feeling.)

Do you sometimes fear for you life?

Are you worried about invasions from outside the country?

Is crime "under control" where you live?

Do you worry about foreign elements moving into your

neighborhood or community? Hope not.

TO MY POINT:

As Americans, we have had it quite well for a long

time, "the most blessed country on earth" as some have

said. AND WE ARE BLESSED! Agree? Hope so.

YET.................

There are "dark clouds" on the horizon that may

very well affect our being "comfortable"! Can you see

them? Do they concern you? Best if they do, as we are

about to see some drastic changes to our way of living,

some changes of which have already begun.

"FORCES" WANT TO CONTROL YOUR TV VIEWING!

"FORCES" WANT TO LIMIT AND MONITOR YOUR

INTERNET USAGE!

"FORCES" WANT TO DISARM HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY

AMERICAN CITIZENS!

"FORCES" DESIRE TO BANKRUPT OUR COUNTRY!

"FORCES" WANT TO CHANGE OUR EDUCATIONAL

SYSTEM AND CURRICULUMS!

"FORCES" HOPE TO MAKE "RELIGION" NON-EXISTENT!

"FORCES" DESIRE TO MONITOR YOUR EVERY COMMUNICATION,

WHETHER THE WEB, YOUR PHONE, OR YOUR PRIVATE

CONVERSATIONS!

"FORCES" WANT A DIFFERENT SET OF "LAWS" FOR OUR

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, NAMELY "SHARIA"!

"FORCES" WANT YOU TO CHANGE YOUR RELIGION - OR DIE!

"FORCES" WANT TO TELL YOU WHAT TO EAT, WHEN TO

EAT, AND HOW MUCH TO EAT!

Are you getting my drift?

My concern is that not enough people (although the number

is growing daily) care enough about their welfare and the

"state of the union" to pay attention to the myriad of

voices that are uniting to stop the EVILS that are already

being perpetrated upon America!!

AMERICAN, PATRIOT, FRIEND, for God's sake, and for

the sake of your family, especially your children and the

generations to come, WAKE UP AND PAY ATTENTION!

WE ARE IN A FIGHT FOR AMERICA'S LIFE!!

Read between the lines.

Listen to patriotic commentators.

Buy and read some of the many books predicting our doom if

we don't STAND and do something soon.

WE ARE ABOUT TO LOSE OUR COMFORTABLENESS!!

YOU ARE ABOUT TO HAVE YOUR LIFE TOTALLY ALTERED!!

THANK GOD FOR THOSE WHO ARE "SOUNDING THE ALARM"!

AMERICA, AMERICANS "WAKE UP OR FOREVER SLEEP"!!

Why wouldn't someone like Glenn Beck?

With all of the high-profile bantering these days about the
explosiveness of America's politics, many voices have been

added to the conversation and debate about "what's best

for America".

You have your previously "big three" networks with their

commentators, in addition to MSNBC and the daily vitriol
that spews from Maddow, Matthews and company, AND
you have your Fox News Network with the likes of Hannity,
Van Susteren, Stossel, O'Reilly, and, of course, Glenn Beck.

For the last 2 or 3 years Beck has been the leader in giving
us the latest on what's happening, not only in the USA, but
around the world, politically and economically, as well as
religiously.

Sadly for some, including myself, Beck is no longer on his
daily 5 to 6 PM slot, but has been relegated to his daily
radio show, his new project "GBTV", GlennBeck.com, and

"The Blaze" on the internet, in addition to the

"Restoring Courage" event in Israel next month.

While there are those who don't or won't miss Glenn's

daily "rantings", many of us do, wondering why the

"voice of reason" that he is was removed from the
spotlight. Some think Fox buckled under pressure from
"the administration" of Barack Hussein Obama, while
others, mainly I, believe that George Soros ("Spooky Dude"
as Glenn calls him) had put some financial pressure on
"someone" to have Glenn removed.

We may never know the entirety of the matter, but this
I'm sure of, "the powers that be" were tired of being
confronted and exposed regularly in their attempts to
diametrically and diabolically alter our great nation's
character.

DO YOU LIKE GLENN? Did you watch him? Do you
listen to him? He's on in the AMs, 10 to 12 locally on
the radio. His websites provide a plethora of valuable
information for those who care about their future and
the future of America.

Why wouldn't a person like Glenn Beck?

WAIT! Those items could easily be the very reasons
one should LIKE GLENN BECK! Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

My intention is not to put Glenn up as some sort of
a saint or national hero, but friend, if you are a true
American, and if you have any care about what's
being done to your homeland - you'll pay attention

The United States Constitution

On this, the celebration of our great nation's 235th birthday,
I've chosen to address the issues surrounding our country's
foundational document, "The Constitution".

A treatise that has served us well for well over 200 years,
and has survived many attempts to destroy it, while the
governments of others have risen and fallen, "The Con-
stitution" is a singularly excellent example of how to
govern and be governed in light of human nature and
behaviours.

In my estimation, "The Constitution" is on a par with
Holy Scripture, to the effect that is describes for us the
ideal manner in which to conduct the business of a
people who want, need, and deserve to be FREE.

Much time was devoted to the construction of "The
Constitution", with thought, debate, deliberation, and
prayer. This document was not lightly, quickly, or
easily composed and compiled. MEN OF CHARACTER
worked together to give our fledgling nation the one
map that would lead us to prosperity, posterity, and
preservation of the many great principles for which the
souls of all humanity cry: Government of, by, and for
the people. NOT a government of the few, by the
few, and for the few, as some today deem it to be!

Looking ahead to the situations that may or would
probably arise to test our nation's mettle and resolve,
the authors tried to address every possible scenario.

Many of our "leaders" of today, and some of yesteryear,
would like to rewrite our most sacred document to allow
their base instincts and desires to conquer the others
of us who love and cherish freedom properly granted
and governed. "TIME" magazine even had the gall to
feature a cover story recently that pictured "The
Constitution" in the process of being shredded, with
the story title "Does It Still Matter?"

YES, it still matters.  It has ALWAYS mattered, and
it WILL ALWAYS matter! Why wouldn't it? Why
should "anyone" even ask such a question? The
answer, I'm afraid is painfully obvious - There are
those who want to remove "The Constitution" and
replace it. With what? That's the scary part.

Would you change "The Constitution"?
How would you change it?
When did you last read or study it?
Do you understand what it is about?
WHY would you alter it's intent?

Frankly, I'm suspicious of anyone who thinks that he
or she or they can write or compose a more suitable
roadmap to our desires and needs to have a Republic
which is democratic in its character. My fear is
that changing any part of it or replacing it will only
institute anarchy, rebellion, despotism, and subservience.

WE ARE A FREE PEOPLE, and we want to stay so!
Anyone who does not like being FREE can go elsewhere.
Liberals, Progressives, Socialists, or others who want to
loosely interpret or deny "The Constitution" in its
entirety and purpose, are seeking things other than
Freedom, Justice, Peace, Liberty, and Happiness.

Friend of mine, please read "The Constitution", as I
am currenty doing, and study it. I believe that if you
are indeed a true American, and a Patriot, that you
will love what you read, and agree with its principles,
so much so that you will begin or accelerate your
support of this MOST IMPORTANT DOCUMENT
of our country's existence.

P.S. Many who read this will immediately know that
my concerns and accusations are directed to them.
My hope is that they will understand the truth and
change their direction to keep our USA strong and

While much of conservative, "right-wing", patriotic verbage is
critical of the man currently occupying the White House, I have
thought hard about the man's many qualities, so I hereby do
submit to you, "The finer qualities of Barack Obama":

l. He always gives the appearance of being fit and trim.

2. Usually he's seen wearing a suit, white shirt, and tie.

3. When not dressed as above, he's in shirt sleeves and
     maybe a jacket so as to relate to the "blue collar"
     citizens he's calling upon.

4. He reminds me of my Mom - they're both left-handed.

5. Basketball is his game of choice, as was mine for most
     of my life, playing, coaching, refereeing, reporting.

6. His wife is a "snazzy" dresser.

7. When his teleprompter is working he sounds almost
     as if he's convinced of what he is speaking about.

8. His hair is always trimmed and neat.

9. He speaks English.

10. He is the "posterchild" of all liberals.

11. Sometimes, when he's poking fun at those of us
      who are patriotic Americans, he's ALMOST funny.

12. He rides in a beautiful black limo.

13. He's a "Chicago-style politician". Oops, scratch that.

14. When he walks from his helicopter he has a certain
       "swagger" of confidence about him.

15. He can wave and smile and walk at the same time.

16. His shoes are always polished.

17. I've never seen stubble on his face - he's always
      clean-shaven.

18. He's never met a Muslim he doesn't like.

19. Included in his "BFFs" are Rahm Emmanuel, George Soros,
      Van Jones, the Steins, William Ayers, Bernadine Dorn,
      and many other multi-talented and multi-cultural figures.

20. He killed Usama Bin Laden.

21. Soon he'll be in the Guinness Book of Records for the
       U.S. President who played the most rounds of golf,
       in a single, 4-year term.

22. He likes Israel, and God's people, the Jews. NOT!

23. He can listen to a preacher (or anyone else) for 20
       years and not hear a word that's being said.

24. Community organizing is one of his strong suits.

25. He managed to escape from Chicago without being
       tainted by the gangster-style politics there.

26. We've not seen him set a bad example for our
       youth by smoking in public.

27. He's photogenic.

28. Someone has to keep those right-wingers in line,
       so his title of "the most liberal Senator" served an
       important purpose and mission.

29. My guess is that he smells good, because he often
      hugs and kisses (on both cheeks, sometimes all 4
     cheeks), other dignitaries he meets.

30. LASTLY (for now), he'll soon be "history" as he
       vacates office for a true American to serve our
       country properly and well.'

HE "CELEBRATE" THE HIGH HOLY-DAY OF JESUS' BIRTH?

FREQUENCY AT ALL, YET WHEN HE DID ATTEND A SERVICE,
IT WAS AT ANOTHER DUBIOUSLY-CONSIDERED D.C. CHURCH.
HE SPEAKS AT GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY, HAVING HAD THE
CHRISTIAN SYMBOLS COVERED IN THE BACKGROUND.

HAVE YOU EVER HEARD HIM MENTION THE NAME OF "JESUS"?
PERHAPS IN PRIVATE - SWEARING!? HAVE YOU EVER HEARD

It's getting exciting and frustrating, isn't it? We have
an inept "leader", "His Arrogance", who wants to
raise a BILLION DOLLARS to ensure his reelection,
and now a BILLIONAIRE potential candidate who
wants to prohibit Hussein's second term. Humph.

What's your take? Is Donald Trump a viable force
to displace "Nobama"? Who else do you have in
mind?

Of all the the current wannabes in the conservative
pasture, none of them has distinguished themselves
as the "candidate-of-choice" of a significant majority
of pre-campaign electors.

Personally, I like a couple of the "leftovers" from the
previous election, not mentioning names yet, but not
one of them has surged into the frontrunner's slot.

WHY NOT DONALD?

I'm not "trumping" or "stumping" for Trump, at least
not yet, but he offers a lot for consideration and
contemplation:
     HE'S SUCCESSFUL.
     HE'S "PRETTY".
     HE'S WELL-SPOKEN.
     HE'S WELL-KNOWN.
     HE'S POWERFUL.
     HE'S VERSED.
     HE'S PURPOSEFUL.

Try to find any of these qualities in the "best-that-the
libs-can-offer", and I believe that you'll determine (if
you're honest with yourself) that Donald Trump is
head and shoulders above any other male or female
potential presidential candidate at this time, at least
any Democrat.

Donald's not afraid to speak his mind. I'm not sure
that Obama has a mind or knows his mind.

Donald is known internationally. "NObama" wasn't
known by other peoples then, and still is an enigma.

Donald has the dollars to add to his "clout". Hussein
hid his donor records, and hasn't account for the $34
million left over from his election campain fund.

Donald got his riches by hard work and smart
business transactions. We still don't know, and
may never find out, who "Barry's" supporters are,
or who financed his schooling or election.

Donald has plans to level the playing field on
international trading. Barack and his advisors want
to weaken and ultimately destroy the U.S.A.'s
power and position in the world.

MORE? There will be more to come. My main
point for now is to get you to THINK! Compare
notes. Compare persons. Compare characters.
Compare histories.

Donald brought himself back from the "brink of
bankruptcy" not too long ago, and no doubt can
devise a plan (if he doesn't have one already) to
stabilize America's economy.

I SAY GIVE HIM A CHANCE!

We gave NObama, an unknown quantity a chance,
and look at what we got - he and his cronies have
foisted an immoral healthcare program on us, his
so-called stimulus plan has been ineffective, his
foreign policy (if you think he has one) has done
nothing but dug a deeper hole for our military and
for our nation's security and continuance.

IF DONALD IS NOT OUR CHOICE, WHO IS?
Conservatives and true Americans need to find and
support someone who can and will return our

For some weeks I've been thinking about writing to encourage people to tune in to the "Glenn Beck Program", which airs weekdays at 5 PM on Fox on Direct TV here in Pittsburgh. GLENN IS A "VOICE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS", much like John the Baptist who heralded the arrival of the Messiah. No one else, sad to say, has been putting the pieces together like Glenn has, teaching us and warning us of "the coming judgment". While I do catch some Hannity, Greta, and O'Reilly(?), no one makes more sense and "does his homework" like Glenn Beck. Now the reports say that GLENN IS LEAVING HIS REGULAR SHOW sometime this year! Wha? Why? DID GEORGE SOROS HAVE HIS WAY? IS "HIS ARROGANCE" BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA WINNING? ARE PELOSI AND REID GAINING A VICTORY? HAVE THE STERNS (SEIU) INFLUENCED PEOPLE? ARE WE BOUND TO BECOME A SOCIALIST NATION? IS BARNEY FRANK AND HIS ILK TAKING OVER? IS GOD STILL ON THE THRONE? The announcement of Glenn's "departure" worries and frightens me, and it should you, too. Every warm- blooded, flag-honoring, soldier-saluting, national anthem- loving American should be concerned!! Dollars and "sense" don't seem to go together according to some people's and corporation's logic. GOD BLESS AMERICA, AND GOD BLESS GLENN BECK and his staff and supporters. I intend to watch every show of his as long as I can, and will continue to give him moral and prayer support "for the duration", which probably means until our beloved nation is no longer recognizable as the nation we have been, and we are all subjects to a hellish regime and evil government, as many are planning and implementing at this very moment, and have been for a long time. a plan from the beginning to return our economy and
our entire way of living to their original intents! We're
sorry.

When you and your "associates" passed that 787 billion
dollar stimulus that was intended to create jobs and
bring us back from "the brink of destruction", what you
actually were doing was trying to get us hopeful, and to
believe in ourselves again, while awaiting for the
supposed "bailout" cash to rescue us from ourselves.
Huh! What were we thinking? You were just trying
to get us to believe in ourselves again, right, and to
begin to work, think, pray, hope, and produce while
we were supposedly to expect a check in the mail.
Huh!
I GET IT NOW - FINALLY. You were employing the
"Reverse-Action-Method" (RAM), which you learned
during one of your many college matriculations, right?
Was it Occidental (Accidental?), Harvard, Columbia,
or one of the many other institutions of "higher learning"
where you learned or developed this unique but
soon-to-be-proven method? IT'S WORKING!
I should have gone to more colleges instead of the
four that I did attend, I guess, then I would have
been able to "see" what you were up to, I suppose.
(Did you really apply for student aid as a "foreign
student" at Occidental? What was that about?)
By the way, may I see your diplomas, especially
the one from Columbia, where your classmates
claim (how silly) they don't remember you?

The Raping Of America - Part 2

It's hard to imagine that a true American would want
to do what some in the administration and congress
are proposing to do tomorrow with the pending vote
and possible passing of the evil healthcare program.
BUT WAIT - WE STILL DON'T KNOW IF BARRY IS
ONE OF US, DO WE? Why does he delay providing
evidence or proof of his citizenship?
As allegoried in yesterday's post, we have put our
trust in certain individuals (politicians) to take our
best interests at heart, and many of them are
failing us.
I've had a colonoscopy or two in recent years,
(they are regrettable and forgettable experiences,
however necessary), and each time I've felt both
"inconvenienced" and violated.
I'M FEELING THAT WAY NOW!
Having just tried to call Mssrs. Specter, Casey, and
Murphy, I discovered that both Senators' mailboxes
are full in Washington, and Specter's Pittsburgh box
is full. I was able to leave a voicemail in Casey's
local box, and got a friendly young lady who seemed
glad to take my message and forward it on to the
Congressman.

With names like Emanuel (Rahm & his brother),
Stern (both brothers), Soros, Reid, Pelosi, and Obama
involved in this government-attempted takeover of
our healthcare and ultimately our entire economic
structure, WE SHOULD BE WORRIED!
With over 523 billion dollars of Medicare cuts, taxes
increasing, hospital and other providers' services
being curtailed, medical equipment being rationed
while providers are limited, and small businesses
being forced to provide health insurance at the risk
of going "belly up", the current proposed legislation
is EVIL, IMMORAL, UNCONSTITUTIONAL, AND WRONG!
Socialized medicine, which is what's being voted on
tomorrow, has failed miserably in England, Canada,
and Massachusetts, among others. Why do we want
it throughout the whole country? WHY?
Besides, with the $940 billion pricetag that the CBO
has put on it, who knows just how accurate it really
is? And, Rush reported on a "docket bill" that will
be added later to take the total cost OVER 1.2 TRILLION!
ARE YOU LISTENING?
If this plan was so great, why have so many evil
BRIBES been offered to congressmen and their states
and districts to get their votes? HUH? HELLO!
HOW CHEAPLY AND EASILY SOME "SELL THEIR SOULS"!
Already, some states are preparing to challenge
this bill, if it passes, for its unconstitutionality!!
Federal intrusion into states' sovereignty is WRONG!
If this plan is so great, why do those proposing it
have to continue to find new "rules" or procedures
to get it voted on and hopefully (their hopes)
passed? HUH? Reconciliation? Slaughter? Deemed?
Up or down? What are trying to do, confuse us?
THEY'RE THE ONES CONFUSED!
And what's this about taxes and paying now when
the so-called benefits won't kick in for 4 or 5 years?
HUH?
Why did the unions get special consideration? I'm
talking about you, Andy Stern, and your SEIU!
What does Nancy Pelosi get out of this? Will she
succeed where Hillary failed, and get into the
White House as resident? Harry Reid is too old to
even considerate it.
In a poll taken this week, Congressman Tim Murphy
got an 80% NO (79.16) on the issue, compared to 20%
(19.18) YES. CAN'T THEY GET THE MESSAGE? ARE
THEY DEAF? DUMB? IGNORANT? DIABOLICAL?
Friend, and fellow-American, listen to both sides of
the issue, please. Hear and read the guys and gals
on Fox, Newsmax, Heritage Foundation, and others
who offer sensible opposition to the pending
legislation. Hear what Hume, Levine, Morris,
Van Susteren, O'Reilly and others are saying. PLEASE!
Log onto their websites.
Try to call your legislator, maybe you'll get through.
IF THIS EVIL THING PASSES, WE WILL OPPOSE ITS
INSTITUTION WITH APPEALS, REPEALS, SUITS AS
FAR UP AS THE SUPREME COURT, AND PRAYERS
TO GOD FOR HIS ASSISTANCE AND GUIDANCE.
Too bad those behind this bill didn't do that earlier.

THE RAPING OF AMERICA

A young lady was walking down the street
around dusk, on her way home from work.
Wisely, she strode along next to the curb, to
avoid anyone who might be hiding in the
shadowy doorways or alleys on her route.
Soon she noticed a figure standing on a
street corner under a streetlight. Getting
closer, she recognized the person to be a
male acquaintance, someone whom she had
known for a few years. Accepting his offer
to walk along beside her for a while to give
her some company and security, the two
continued on for a while when suddenly,
without warning or provocation, the man
grabbed her by the shoulders and half-pushed,
half-dragged her into an alley where he proceeded
to rape her.
Really not a totally unfamiliar account, wouldn't
you agree, though the young lass could have
exercised additional caution, perhaps. Actually,
sometimes it's hard to know who you can and
who you cannot trust.
AMERICA, YOU ARE ON THE VERGE OF BEING
THE POSSIBLE VICTIM OF A RAPE!!
The insistence and persistence of the socialists
and their congressional counterparts to pass
an evil and dispassionate healthcare bill this
weekend will totally change the ways that you
and I have lived, including how, when, and
how soon we'll die.

l. Thousands of doctors have already announced
that they will leave their profession if this
mindless piece of legislation is passed! WHY?
Because they know that their hands will be tied
as to who they treat, how much they can help,
and what treatments they will be allowed to use.
2. Your money will be used to help loose-moraled
persons to kill the babies in their wombs, conceived
by sinful intercourse and wrong lifestyles. The
total disregard and disrespect of human life, at

3. People who do not need health coverage, as

to buy it at the risk of being fined and imprisoned!
The bill and the administration backing it, will
give the government too much control!
4. Illegals will probably end up with the same
"health coverage" (if you can call it that) that you
and I have, and that at little or no cost to them-
you and I will be paying for them!

HOW TO CONVERT A LIBERAL - FINAL CHAPTER

There's been a sudden, sullen, somber cloud hanging
over D.C. the last few days, ever since the "Barry Express"
was halted rapidly by the signal from Massachusetts
that there is a "bridge out" ahead!
Ms. (as in miserable or mistaken) Pelosi has been
uncharacteristically quiet and unseen since last
Tuesday, and "Leader" (as in leader-dog?) Reid
looked like a whipped puppy as he appeared before
the microphones a couple of days ago.
Even Barry has changed his tune - he's doing a bit
of a different "dance" now, turning the emphasis
to jobs and the economy, at least for this week.
Why, even "Air America", the liberal broadcast
network went belly-up this week, as their efforts
since being founded in 2004 to "derail" the message(s)
of the Conservatives were not getting "a full head of
steam" with listeners or sponsors. Maybe they should
have brought Al Franken back?
Perhaps we should call this week "Black Week", and
hang black ribbons and wreaths all around D.C.,
especially the White House.
Some of you read my email recently with what I
call my "classic definition of a liberal" - I reiterate
it here:
"A LIBERAL is someone who has no respect for
the principles or foundations of our country's past,
nor for anyone else's ideas or ideals, disregarding
our nation's history or character, and is interested
ONLY in advancing his or her agendum or goals
which would profit or benefit his or her welfare,
regardless of the outcome or consequences for
others."
In other words, "A LIBERAL IS EVERYTHING THAT
MY MOTHER NEVER WANTED ME TO BE"!
Have you noticed, now they're preferring to call
themselves "Progressives"? Even some of the
Conservatives are using that term. I have a better
one - "Regressives". How do you like that one?
You probably don't if you're a liberal - but what I
see and what I'm saying is that if we were to continue
down the track that Barry and his assistant "engineers"
were taking us down, we'd be going backwards.
THE "TRAIN RIDE" IS NOT OVER, HOWEVER, AS
THERE ARE PROBABLY "SECRET" "TRANSPARENCY"
MEETINGS BEING HELD AT THIS MOMENT, EVEN
IF YOU'RE READING THIS DURING THE NIGHT.

Okay, here is is, my final (for now) appeal to clear-
headed, sensible, patriotic Americans to make an
appeal to the above-defined individuals who have
not been taking our country's best interests to heart:

l. Ask your liberal friends to describe their "take" on
our founding documents. Their answers will say a lot.
2. Remind "them" that true American citizens want &
deserve & need to be involved in the discussions and
decision-making processes.
3. Ask for a list of priorities that they use to determine
whether an action, opinion, stance, bill, or law is
credible and right for Americans.
4. Ask your liberal politicians who they are aligned
with, politically and support-wise.
5. Try to get them to explain how that additional
trillions of dollars of taxes and national indebtedness
is practical or smart.
6. Require an explanation about unions running the
show in both D.C. and in our nation's workplaces.
7. With dangers ever-increasing, why do they want
to decrease defense spending? (Duh.)
8. What is your liberal friend's view of our place in
the global economy & politics - their answer just
may frighten you!
9. Why, when our ancestors came to these shores
by right processes, should we grant blanket amnesty
to those who knew they were coming here illegally?
10. Ask who is their favorite American person in
history, and why. Prepare to be shocked.
11. Make an attempt to get their views on:
Iraq; Afghanistan; Russia; Israel; Iran; Yemen.
12. Mention these names and gauge their reactions:
Glenn Beck; Bill O'Reilly; Lou Dobbs; Sean Hannity;
John Savin; Rush Limbaugh; Dick Morris; Bill Richey.
13. Ask them if they ever watch or listen to the
ever-growing voices of Conservatism, and why or
why not? (It really is a good idea to take other points
of view into consideration.)

You've noticed that I've repeated a few of the items
from the previous 3 blogs, but I tried to highlight
some of the most important points and arguments
for discussion and consideration.

It is not my intent or goal to reduce our country's
political landscape to a one-party system. That would
give us Communism. My efforts are simply to get
cloudy-thinking and misdirected persons, both those
in office and in the public sector, to think more clearly
and more responsibly about their positions and
values, especially values.
A two-party system, while it definitely has its flaws,
as history has proven, is the minimum form of
structure that our U.S.A. needs, and PERHAPS THE
FORMATION OF A THIRD PARTY IS IN ORDER!?
Am I talking "Tea Party"? Not necessarily, though
they've gotten some of our attention. Should we look
to the Libertarians? Listen to their dialogue, is all
I'm asking.
While the Massachusetts "surprise" (to some, not to
all of us) sent a message or two, it illuminates the
idea that we "Independents" have a lot of say and
sway, and we intend to continue to hear what both
major parties are about, and to have a voice in
keeping both in check, creating a "balance", if you
will, in our governments' politics, both national
and local.

REMEMBER - love those who differ from you in their
views, and show respect to them, even if you're
convinced that they're wrong. We must have sane,
sensible, respectful dialogue with each other, in the
hopes and goals of CREATING A BETTER AMERICA!

AMERICA WON IN MASSACHUSETTS-NOW WHAT?

Sadly, though, while we're celebrating and revelling
in Scott Brown's historic victory in the Massachusetts
election, the "war" is far from over.
In retrospect, Barry, "The Enchanter", and his
minions were so cocksure of themselves that they
waited until almost the end to show up and give
physical support to "poor" Mrs. Coakley. IT WAS
HARD FOR THEM TO IMAGINE THAT ANYONE
OTHER THAN A LIBERAL DEMOCRAT WOULD
SIT IN "KENNEDY'S SEAT"!!
Humph! Surprise! Shock! Did you feel the ground
tremble last evening? The epicenter was in D.C.!!
What's even more alarming to "the establishment"
is that the larger portion of the electorate in the
fine state of Massachusetts are registered as Dems!
Humph! Who could have even imagined or dreamed
(or nightmared) that an American conservative
would receive the margin of victory that Brown did?
Not Barry. Not Nancy. Not Harry. Not Duvall.
THE CRUX OF THE MATTER, quite simply, is this-
Americans and patriots have HAD ENOUGH of the
"business as usual" that the liberals have foisted
upon us, and the reverbrations (aftershocks) are
being felt from the "epicenter" in D.C. to every
state, city, town, village, and farmhouse in our
great nation.
As after the Virginia and New Jersey "K.O.'s", the
White House and the Dems are already trying to
recluse themselves from any part in their losses.
They blame Coakley's "weak" campaigning, among
other lame excuses.
WHAT THEY REFUSE TO ACCEPT is that AMERICANS
ARE WAKING UP from the trance that "The Enchanter"
has tried to put upon them, and they are no longer
willing subjects to the "taking away of our country"
by power-hungry, position-maddened, inexperienced,
unknowledgable, and uncaring politicians, from
Barry on down to the party precinct captains.
CELEBRATE, AMERICA! Exactly what Brown's
victory means or will mean, only time will tell.
The immediate and obvious message is that the
Libs will now have to reconnoiter and they are
already trying to find ways to bypass the normal
procedures to shove the "Obamacare" bill through
before Brown can cast a vote. HOW WRONG!
But they don't care. Expediency and their agenda
is all that they care about. HOW WRONG! HOW SAD!

YESTERDAY'S VOTING.
Thank God for victory. Now we just have to wait

WHERE ARE THE JOBS, BARRY?

Promises, promises, promises. It wasn't that
long ago, Barry, that you were campaigning for
the office that disillusional Americans had the
audacity to vote you into. Remember? Do you
remember all the things that you VOWED that
you would do? Did you mean them? Did you
have any idea what you were saying? Were
those your words? Did you really believe you
could "pull it off"?
HOW DO YOU THINK NOW? Not so easy, is it?
That is, if indeed you really meant all those
things you said.
I HAVE A SUGGESTION! Surprised, aren't you?
No? Never mind.
For all those people, over FOUR MILLION of them,
who have lost their jobs since you "assumed" office,
and for all those THREE MILLION jobs that you
promised to create (not "save"), let's put a plan
into place that will employ all of that UNUSED AND
UNDESIGNATED STIMULUS MONEY, to put
Americans back into the work force.
How about, let's form an oversight panel, made
up of NON-GOVERNMENTAL members, and let's
name it People's Institute for Stimulus Spending,
of PISS for short!? It's a start.
Here are some areas that you should consider for
getting our great nation's economy back onto its
feet and running strong:
l. Repairing and repaving our highways.
2. Repairing and replacing our bridges. It's quite
obvious that our infrastructure is in serious
need of attention.
3. Cleaning up our urban areas by demolishing
unusable buildings and replacing them with
parks, playgrounds, daycare centers or job
centers, training schools, etc.
4. Gradually investing in SMALL BUSINESSES,
the backbone of our country's economy, doling
out monies gradually as they increase their
workforce, production, and services.
5. "Earmarking" (don't you just love that word? I
know you do, based on your limited tenure in
the U.S. Senate and your record of "earmarks")
funds to put welfare recipients to work earning
their subsistence.
6. Creating a form to be submitted to "PISS" that
those interested in starting businesses can use to
apply for the necessary "startup" money for
their venture.
7. Giving money to "real" districts, not those
FICTITIOUS ones that were claimed on the
previous reports. TSK, TSK, TSK!!
8. Support honest, hardworking students who
have a desire to further their educations, and
who have a proven track record of industriousness.
9. Providing RETRAINING or re-education to those
who have lost their jobs because of scaling down
or company closures. Also give living support to
them while studying.
10. Aid our transportation industry, without
expectation of payback, so that airlines, rail
systems, trucking, coach lines, etc. may continue
to serve our citizens. DO THIS WITHOUT GOV'T
TAKEOVER OR OWNERSHIP!
There you have it, Barry, a start, I hope, on what
could become a plan to revitalize the economical
doldrums and woes of the United States of America!

P.S. JEHOVAH HELP US if we don't soon get something
started to save us from total ruin. (Sorry, not
really, but Allah can't help us, as he doesn't exist.)

Muslims don't celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ,
the true Messiah. Duh.
I hear that "somebody's" planning to erect a
statue in the state of your supposed birth,
is that true? Where? Near which of the two
hospitals that you were "born in"? You know,
I hope, that a statue is not the same as a
"Birth Certificate", don't you? A statue in every
state or every city does not prove anything,
only YOU can prove "something", that is, if you're
man enough.
And......what's this about NOBODY in your class
(of '83") knowing or remembering you? Huh? Did
you not "excel" or "stand out" that your classmates,
even those in the same study program do not know
of you? Were you there? Under another name?
Why are your records sealed? Why don't you talk
about your time at Columbia, or anywhere else?
Huh?
Someone posted a picture of you removing your
footwear with others in preparation for prayers
in a mosque. Huh? You said you are a Christian.
That is, after you said you are a Muslim. Huh?
I have that interview moment saved, too.
Barry, who are you really? Who are your
"sponsors" or "financial supporters" or ideolog
backers? What are you and they hoping to gain,
at the expense of our great nation?
YOU WORRY ME, BARRY, and a lot of other
people, not just those at Fox! Many are starting
to "catch on" to your agenda and ineptness.
STILL WANT TO BE PRESIDENT?
A life in private business sounds better and
better all the time, doesn't it? GO FOR IT!!

How To Convert A Liberal - Part Three

Long overdue, I know, but wanting and needing
to "get my brain around" as much usable material
as possible in the hopes of changing the radical
direction of our GREAT COUNTRY!
Yes, there will be a "Part Four" and final chapter
on this subject, and hopefully sooner than the
time between these last two sections. Thanks
for your patience and prayers.
FIRST and most importantly, we need to address
the way we address liberals - it's much like
witnessing to a non-believer (sinner) about the
prospect and promises available when they turn
their lives to Jesus Christ:
l. LOVE them, no matter how wrong they are.
2. PRAY for them, no matter how upset you get.
3. SOW SEEDS of kindness.
4. SOW SEEDS of doubt into their minds.
5. APPEAL to their conscience.
Liberals often appear to have no conscience or
concern about the consequences of their decisions
or actions. They have little or no respect for our
past or our future. Political expediency is the
name of the game for Liberals - whatever works

date with taxpayers' money?", or "How can you
ever justify broken promises that were made
knowing they'd be impossible to keep?"
GET MY GIST?
It would also be interesting (and frustrating,
I'm sure) to get a Liberal's definitions of morality,
patriot, conservative, liberal, and American.
ARE LIBERALS BAD? No, they're just confused.
ARE LIBERALS UNAMERICAN? Hopefully not,
they're just socialists/marxists.
ARE LIBERALS EVIL? I'd hate to think so, I
believe that they're just conscienceless.

WITH YOU. It's important to do it together,

A Letter To The White House Travel Department

Watching the news yesterday afternoon, and seeing
the early election results scroll across the bottom of
the screen, it occured to me that we should be ready
for a list of explanations to accompany the final
tallies in Virginia and New Jersey.
What do you think we would have heard had the
Liberal candidate(s) won? "It's a mandate for
Obama's agenda!" "Americans are waking up to
what is needed in our country." "Two more states
have spoken for the 'changes' that were promised."
"Obama's power, presence, and influence are being
felt everywhere." Shall I go on? You can imagine
other responses, should the votes have gone his way.
So, what are we hearing from Barry now? "The votes
were not about Obama, they were about the issues."
Wha? Huh? Somebody wake me up!
Did they have this reaction prepared in advance?
Did they stay up all night to excuse themselves?
How much money was spent on trips to support the
Liberal candidates? Your money! My money!
NOW - the White House travel department needs
to get busy setting Barry's itinerary for 2010, as
there are Liberal congressmen and senators who
need his support in their frantic run for reelection!
HURRY! Acorn and the SEIU may be booking the
halls and meeting places ahead of you, mobilizing
their military for intimidating the populace into
voting their people into office!
HURRY! Before the patriotic American right gets
its message into the public's eyes and ears and
starts to make sense to the thinking electorate!
HURRY! Barry's supporters want to see "the
Messiah" and thank him for all the wonderful
"changes" that he has promised and fulfilled! Huh?
HURRY! November's election day will be here
before you know it, and clear-minded candidates
may deliver reasonable platforms to those of
us, a growing majority, who have "had enough"!!

the citizens of New Jersey and Virginia onto the

Sorry to be the last (and late) to post a thought or
two about the debacle of last Friday, but I've got
to say something about the travesty of the awarding
of the Nobel Peace Prize.
I rather imagine that Nobel, himself, is trying to
return to ask those who are misusing his name and
intentions. It's difficult to think that the inventor of
dynamite, among other explosives, expected to
have such an earth-shaking event that dishonors
his name.
WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? Maybe we don't
want to know, as so much has been written and said
about the political and economical implications of
choosing who they did.
WHAT WERE THEY SMOKING? Who knows, but
they caused hallucinations and dumbstruckness in
the most of the civilized world.
IS THIS A JOKE? When I first heard the announcement,
I was literally shocked. I'm thinking as many others,
"This can't be true." "On what basis?" "Where is there
'peace' today because of him?"
IF THE AWARD IS INTENDED TO HONOR ONE
WHO TALKS A LOT AND DOES VERY LITTLE, then
I understand. If anything, the words of the awardee
are causing strife and fear that hadn't existed before
his speeches and apologies for America! Peace? Huh.
THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE HAS LOST ITS
PRESTIGE AND LUSTER! Pity those who will
follow in getting this now-questionable honor! How
can this man possibly measure up to those great
men and women who have, indeed, succeeded in
the cause and quest for world peace?
In "Washington Insider" by Ronald Kessler, found
at http://www.neswmax.com/, numerous sources are
quoted, not the least of which is Peggy Noonan in
a Wall Street Journal piece: "This is an award for
not being George Bush." THINK ABOUT IT!
All of the bashing that "Barry" and his comrades
have done about the former President, and they
have yet to get dust on their shoes for anything
near George W.'s accomplishments!
Mr. Bush toppled Sadam Hussein, who had killed
300,000 people, tortured numerous thousands,
and dominated 50 million in his country.
Hussein had electric prods attached to genitals,
gave acid baths, drilled holes in ankles and skulls,
put naked people into refrigerators for days,
cut off tongues and ears, and forced Iraqi men to
watch forced rapes of their wives and sisters.
THAT ALONE QUALIFIES GEORGE W. FOR
RECOGNITION!!
Add to this the fact that Afghan women can now
attend school, don't have to be accompanied in
public by a man, and are allowed to hold jobs,
and Mr. Bush is a "shoe-in"!!
THERE'S MORE! Because of the $15 BILLION
sent to Africa to fight AIDS, deaths are down
dramatically, and Bush's approval rating in that
continent is at 80 percent or higher!
WHAT IS "BARRY'S" APPROVAL RATE ANYWHERE?
Because of President George W. Bush's quick and
determined action, the world, especially the U.S.A. is
safer than before 9/11! YOU'D BETTER BE
THANKFUL THAT WE ARE STILL FREE AND
SAFER!
Were there other candidates more qualified than
"Barry"? YES! Dozens of them. WHAT WAS THE
COMMITTEE THINKING/ WHAT ARE THEY
SMOKING?
I'm anxious to hear the "acceptance speech" - it's
got to be a doosy (sic)!
P.S. - I didn't hear - did "Barry" fly over to talk
to the committee before they made their choice?
HA-HA! "Tambourines and elephants, grazing

For those of you who are my loyal readers,
I apologize for not "getting all over the
Nobel Peace Prize issue" before this, but I
have a good reason - I spent the weekend
at a youth retreat as one of the staff. You
can be sure that when I got the news at
work Friday morning that I was angry,
befuddled, and more than anxious to address
"the incident", knowing that I had to wait.
To the specialists tomorrow morning for the
results of the CT Scan of two weeks ago, then
to the lab (again) for more blood work, then
to work in the PM.
TUESDAY MORNING I WILL BE POSTING
MY ACCUMULATED THOUGHTS, MANY
OF THEM WRITTEN DOWN OVER THE
WEEKEND. I promise.
Jack Savin has some excellent things to say
about the matter at "TheDailyFishOnline".
He speaks fancier than I do - I'm just plain.
Huh? You'll see when you read him.

How To Convert A Liberal - Part Two

It's come to my attention that some who read
my comments and suggestions in Part One may
think that I offered up a "5-course meal", which
may be way too much for one sitting.
Actually, my intent was to give you appropriate
material that you can use at your discretion, and
any combination of "thinking" or "talking" points
when engaging a Liberal in conversation.
FIRST, let me behoove you to obtain a copy of
The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution,
and the ensuing Bill Of Rights and additional amend-
ments. (These are easily gotten by just typing in
their titles on your web browser and printing them
out from any of a number of sources.)
SECOND, read them over carefully, as I'm doing,
highlighting those special portions that will add fuel
to our fire, or give more ammo during our presen-
tations.
THIRD, be passionate but calm during your debates
or "calling out" processes. There's no need to be
argumentative, overly emotional, or to resort to
name-calling, there'll be enough of that from the
"other side". Besides, people "in/on the Right" don't
have to press their point(s) - the truth will prevail!
FOURTH, accusations and innuendoes are not
necessary, as the truth and facts will accuse alone.
FIFTH, offer quotes from those great men who
wrote and signed our country's establishment docu-
ments, hopefully some from their biographies or
other papers or speeches that they authored.
SIXTH, determine to ascertain their religious
background, philosophy, and lifestyle. Much can
be learned by knowing a person's religion or lack of,
especially the conscientiousness of their decisions.
SEVENTH, ask them what they hope to leave for
their children's and grandchildren's future, as far
as the United States of America, that is, if any-
thing is left for them to enjoy.
TELL YOUR LIBERAL FRIENDS THAT IT'S
NOT JUST ABOUT THEM, IT'S ABOUT
ALL OF US!

material for at least two more postings, but my
schedule has limited my creativity and availability.

How To Convert A Liberal - Part One

I thought it rather bemusing that my dictionary,
the "American Heritage Dictionary - College Edition",
published by Houghton Mifflin Company, describes
a politically "conservative" person as "one who
favors traditional views and values" (such as our
nation's historical character), while a "liberal" is
said to be "one who promotes governmental power
for 'social progress' and civil liberties."
Now I agree that I'm not "the sharpest tack in the
pack", but there are a lot of inferences in that
latter statement, and a lot more definition to
fully describe what a modern-day "Liberal" really is.
Preferring to defer a more intricate description,
allow me please to simply offer some steps and
points of discussion that may more clearly
define what/who is a "Liberal", and how/why
they need to be "converted" in their thinking.
l. Ask them to tell you what the founding
documents of our country say.
2. Relate particular portions of The Declaration
Of Independence, The Constitution, The Bill Of
Rights and the ensuing Amendments to their
peculiar style of governing or politicking.
3. Explain to them, if they'll listen, how important
it is NOT to equivocate, prevaricate, & fabricate -
these are morally wrong! Remember the
Kennedy era's "mental reservations" theory?
4. Tell them that citizens want to make their own
decisions, not have government officials, whether
elected or appointed, to speak for them or tell
them what they must do!
5. Explain to them that selfishness and covetousness
is SIN!
6. Ask them how much they've read about our
Founding Fathers, and ask them to do so - SOON!
7. Ask them how they would fit in with the originators
of our nation and its documents.
8. Request a list of criterions that they follow in
determining what bills or laws should be written
and implemented. I'd really like to hear that
conversation, that is, if they will respond honestly.
9. While there has been some discussion as to
whether we are a "democracy" or a "republic",
both are forms of representative governments
that allow the voice of the populace to be the
rule or law of the land, not the ideas of the few
who ominously use their power and position to
do otherwise.
10. Ask a liberal just what their political philosophy
is, if they can describe it. You'll be surprised and
shocked.
11. Ask liberal policymakers who they are indebted
to, or are "in bed with", and if they don't have a
conscience that tells them that paybacks and
acting for political or financial gain are WRONG!
12. Encourage them to be open to an exchange of
ideas from their constituency, not just what they
think is the proper course of action.
13. Remind them that our country must be put
FIRST - IT'S NOT WRONG TO DO SO! - as it's
necessary that we remain strong to continue to be
a "beacon of hope" and "big brother" to other
peoples and nations who are struggling for survival
and identity.
14. NO ONE, whether conservative, liberal, or
otherwise, has the right to "police" peoples' minds
or thoughts; dictate peoples' words unless incendiary
or defamatory; tell upright citizens that they cannot
or may not defend their lives and property!
15. Liberals, based on their record, have a reputation
of being selfish, self-centered, and egotistical, all to
the point of not allowing guilt or sorrow or remorse
to be a part of their agendas or personas.
IN OTHER WORDS - TELL YOUR LIBERAL
FRIENDS THAT THIS IS NOT JUST ABOUT THEM!!
IT'S ABOUT ALL OF US!!

Suggestions/Requests For Additional "Czars"

Someone in our government ("Hi!", Barry), seems to
think that he needs help doing his job, to the point
that he has illegally and unconstitutionally appointed
"czars" to do his dirty work, to act as his militia.
I've always been taught that czars are dictator-
like people who run peoples' lives. Who's paying
these people, with what funds, to whom are they
accountable, and just exactly what do they do to
help our country be better?
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM?
Departing from my normal attempts at serious
commentary, suggestiveness, and derisiveness,
here are 32 (!) additional ideas for "czars" that
doubles the number of current such persons, and
may actually make living in the U.S.A. happier!!
l. Snack Food czar - to mandate that everyone
gets their fair share of Twinkies, HoHos, etc.
2. Cowboy Channel czar - to order a TV channel
dedicated to showing only "good quality" Westerns!
3. Racing czar - in charge of developing or using
current freeways exclusively for speeders.
4. NASCAR czar - their cars need to be more fuel
efficient, quieter, and more crash-proof.
5. Pro Sports czar - developing a league of just those
players who have committed crimes.
6. College Sports czar - to establish a more equitable
way to decide the football champion.
7. Green Lawn czar - (Van Jones need not apply)
mandating greening and mowing of lawns.
8. Floral czar - requiring that everyone have a
minimum number of flowers in their yards.
9. Weather czar - finding a way to improve the
temps year 'round, and basing forecasters' pay
on their accuracy, etc.
10. Travel czar - arranging for everyone to get
to visit a site of their choice every five years.
11. Wealth czar - oh, wait, we already have one
of these in the White House, no? NO! An
earnings "ceiling" and "basement" for all?!?
12. Pizza czar - having automatic pizza delivery
to every household once a week, and shutting
down the "bad pizza" makers.
13. Noise czar - setting a decibel limit on all car
stereo systems and neighborhood parties!
14. Sleep czar - having biological clocks reset
in those who don't get sufficient rest. Huh?
15. Reading czar - requiring that all citizens,
including "naturalized" persons, have at least
a 6th-grade reading proficiency, and that we
read at least one book a month!
16. Work czar - not letting anyone get "freebies"
without finding community service to perform.
17. Bloggers czar - teaching everyone who wants
to how to express their opinions to a vast audience.
18. Media czar - mandating that the liberal media,
especially ABC, CBS, and NBC give fair and unbiased
reports.
19. Sex czar - offering government-funded aids and
assistance to those who are under-loved.
20. Teeth czar - giving dental and orthodontic care
to everyone in need, and eliminating "bad smiles"!
21. Smile czar - fining those who refuse to smile at
least once an hour.
22. Bathing/Body Odor czar - placing foul-smelling
persons into specially-plumbed cells for showers.
23. Tattoo czar - requiring only "tasteful" tattoos
to be exposed - ugly ones placed only on butts!
24. Language czar - setting up night schools for
those who can't speak without foul language.
25. English czar - teaching our national language
to "visitors", and not requiring any others.
26. Clothes czar - advertising "acceptable" styles
clothing, intended to cover body parts.
27. Career czar - issuing brooms, shovels, sickles,
scythes, and needed materials to the "untrained"
and "unused" work force.
28. Death czar - devising inexpensive ways to lay
our loved ones to rest without depleting the
families' bank accounts or inheritances.
29. Postal czar - developing reusable stamps
or huskier postal workers, along with cheaper
vehicles and machinery to operate.
30. Immigration czar - putting electric fences and
land mines along our border to eliminate the
influx of unwanted persons.
31. Religion czar - deporting all those who believe
that their religion is "the only one", and requiring
the removal of any creeds that discriminate by
wishing the deaths of "other" faiths.
32. Chocolate czar - (wife, Cindy's suggestion) -
"good quality" chocolate mailed or delivered
at least once a week to all women.
WELL, there you have it, a departure from my
norm, to say the least, and mostly humorous (you
decide for yourself which may be "serious") ideas
to help alleviate the current tension in our nation,
and to create more "happiness for all"!! Ha-Ha?

Barry, Get Out Of the Kitchen Before It Gets "Hotter"!

one of the names you've gone by, isn't it? There
are many other names you're being called
these days, but I won't bother to mention them
here or now. Sound familiar?
Barry, you've really gotten yourself into it this
time, haven't you? It's not like editing the
"law review" or sitting in the Illinois Senate, is
it? You've dug quite a hole for yourself, not
bothering to pay attention or be in the U.S.
Senate long enough to know what national
and international politics and policies are all
about, haven't you?
Sorry. Shame. Just who was it that influenced
you into thinking that you were qualified to fill
the highest position in our land? Soros? William
Ayers? Ghadafi? Malcolm X? Frank? Farrakhan?
Wright? Blagojevich? Strange bedfellows all.
Just what do you owe them? What is it that
they'd like you to do? Just what you're doing?
What "vested interest" do each one of them
have in you succeeding and "US" failing?
We'd really like to know.
Now look what you've done. The whole country
is up in arms over your insistence that we
accept your socialistic healthcare reform plan.
Tsk, Tsk! How dumb do you really think we are?
Then, you claim now to have "saved" or developed
1 million jobs with your stimulus plan and our
money? Really? Where? Why isn't the GAO or
the Chamber of Commerce or any other agency
verifying your assertions? I have yet to talk
to anyone whose life is better or who has a
new job because of your actions. Hmmmmm.
Then you said you were saving the financial
industry by "bailouts", all the while curtailing
abuses, particularly those of the executives.
Guess what? They didn't stop. Huh!?
Demeaning our country's values held dear
since our inception, trying to place your
brand of "religious philosophy" into our
lifelong values, ethics, and beliefs.
Decrying our nation's "failures" and weaknesses
to peoples and leaders of other tribes and
governments. What's that about? Not that we
feel that we're sinless or anything like that, but
we have taken the welfare of the world to
heart, and have given and given to help others
who were in need from famine, drought, civil
insurrection, natural disasters, blights and
plagues, and attacks from the outside of their
borders. WHERE have we failed?
And what about those 32 "czars" that you
appointed - UNCONSTITUTIONALLY AND
UNCONSCIONABLY - who's paying them?
How much? Why? Methinks it because you
cannot do your job, or because you want to
continue "jaunting" and vacationing around the
globe with our money! And the NYC "date"?
Your latest "disapproval rating" is 55% or more!
Guess what? We know what you're up to,
and we don't like it. We'd really like for you
to face the truth, confess your inabilities and
insufficiencies and inefficiencies, and RESIGN!
Seriously, there's no shame in resigning - in fact,
it would be the sane and manly thing to do!
Seriously, while there is a new hue and cry afoot
to have you impeached, it would just be better
that you accept reality and STEP DOWN!
NO OTHER PRESIDENT has ever caused so
much furor, divisiveness, dissent, distress,
worry, concern, fear, and unsettledness!
NO OTHER PRESIDENT has ever had the
mainstream of our citizens mobilize into the
flood of disagreement and dissatisfaction that
you have done.
NO OTHER PRESIDENT has faced the daunting
task of leading the greatest nation on earth,
the leader of the free world, with the lack of
awareness and conscience and abilities that you
have done!
NO OTHER PRESIDENT has come close to
totally reversing the established cores of our
character.
NO OTHER PRESIDENT has taken undue
advantage of his position and propagated the
antitheses of our founding fathers' intentions.
How can you continue? Save yourself from
having the most ignominious tenure in the
White House by gracefully and graciously
BOWING OUT!
You'll gain respect and gratitude from all of us
if you'll just admit that you cannot properly
handle the job, and SUBMIT YOUR RESIGNATION!
Are you man enough to do so?
Are you sane enough to do so?
Are you conscientious enough to do so?
Are you humble enough to do so?

Who Is Eric Holder, And Why Is He Jeopardizing America's Security?

I'M ANGRY! You, too? It's no wonder, what
with "czars" and questionable appointments by
the administration that threaten our nation's
greatness and SECURITY!!
Who is Eric Holder, and why does he think he has
any authority or right to even think about "investigating"
the actions of the CIA and the recent Bush administration's
handling of post-9/11 actions?
First of all, despite his educational background and
various positions in and out of government, Holder
has a questionable history of involvements and
decisions.
FOR EXAMPLE: (1) his involvement with Bill
Clinton's pardon of fugitive and Democratic contributor
Marc Rich; (2) his recommendation of clemency to
the members of the Boricua Popular Army who had
stolen MILLION$ of dollars in the 1983 Wells Fargo
robbery, despite their refusal to disclose the location
of Victor Manuel Gerena, their leader, who was on
the FBI's "Ten Most Wanted List", or the whereabouts
of the loot; (3) he joined with Janet Reno in opposing
the overturn of the Washington, D.C. ban on handguns
in the 2008 "D.C. vs. Heller" case; (4) he favors the
closing of Guantanamo Bay and the "dispersion" (my
word) of its inmates; (5) he has criticized waterboarding
as "torture"; (6) he called America a "nation of cowards"
about racial issues (2/18/09); and (7) memos from
the recent Bush administration that okayed "enhanced
interrogation techniques" he is responsible for
releasing! IS THAT NOT ENOUGH?
Now, with all the pompousity and arrogance of the
administration for whom he works, HE PROPOSES
TO "CRIMINALIZE" THOSE PATRIOTS WHO
WENT INTO IMMEDIATE ACTION AFTER THE
TERRORIST ATTACKS OF 9/11, AND WHO SAVED
OUR GREAT NATION FROM FURTHER MURDEROUS
PLOTS AND DESTRUCTION!!
What does Holder hope to accomplish or prove?
Is this a political move to demonize the former leaders
of our government and to make the current people in
power seem "lily-white"?
Does Holder/Obama hava a vendetta against those
who are trying to hold them in check with their
numerous attempts to "power grab"?
Is this a form of intimidation that is intended to
keep true and concerned Americans, especially
members of the media and the law-enforcement
agencies of our Federal Government fearful of
"crossing" the current "movement"?
Does he not care that names, techniques, and
invaluable information will be compromised to the
BENEFIT OF OUR ENEMIES?
Is Holder's sense of patriotism and national pride

During the presidential campain we heard over
and over the promise of "change" from one of the
candidates. Signs with just the word "CHANGE"
were held up at rallies, and the rhetoric was filled
with the promises and prospects of change.
We weren't really told what kind of change was
coming, and if we had truly known, I believe that
the outcome of the election would have been
different.
AMERICANS ARE ANGRY! We are troubled!
We are upset! Some are fearful! Many simply
worry that their lives are about to be totally
disrupted. AMERICANS don't like what they
perceive the future to be with the current trends
and attitudes displayed by the leaders of our
government!
Many with whom I've spoken, normally quiet,
uninvolved citizens, are passionate about the
wrong turns the current administration and
Congress are taking us! There is a somewhat-
less-than-quiet revolution taking place in the
marketplaces and homes of our great nation!
WE DON'T LIKE WHAT WE SEE AND HEAR,
and we intend to do SOME THINGS about it!
We will speak out!
We will make phone calls!
We will send emails!
We will attend town halls!
We will send faxes!
WE WILL VOTE IN THE MID-TERM ELECTION!!

Barry, may I call you Barry?
That is one of the names you've been known
by, isn't it? Of course there are some others
that people are using these days, but I won't
repeat them here.
You've really gotten yourself into it, haven't you?
Dug a hole that you may well never get out
of! You should have known. But then, all of
the hype and brainwashing and mind games
that your mentors and tutors inculcated into
you probably left you with no option.
"Be all that you can be." You've heard that
before, haven't you, Barry? Of course it's one
of the U.S. Army's mottoes, one that you may
never share, as you have no military past, and
probably wouldn't have been able to enlist,
anyway.
Barry, what is your agenda? Is it that of the
people that you have surrounded yourself with?
Socialists. Marxists. Black Panthers. Communists.
Pseudo-Christians. Radicals. Self-servers,
instead of those looking out for the good of the
citizens of our great U.S.A.
What part did you play in writing the current
healthcare reform bill? Any? Or did Ezekiel, Nancy,
Harry and company concoct it all? What were they
thinking? Anything? Your first six months in office
have been the antithesis of what this nation has
stood for. Printing fake money. Hiring highly-paid
"czars" to do your dirty work. Putting down the
people who disagree with you. "Ramming through"
legislation without proper deliberation. Threatening
those who think differently. Threatening our
country's safety and security by putting in place
those who, like you, Barry, want to disarm honest,
upright, responsible Americans.
Barry, Barry, Barry. Will you ever get it right?
All of the polls have shown your approval rating
falling rapidly. People who voted for you are
having their eyes opened, and many of them
regret casting their ballots the way they did.
We tried to tell them. Your inexperience and
naivete' would be detriments to your performance.
It's coming true. Too bad all of your education
didn't teach you to select people without agendas
to help you to succeed. It may be too late.
Barry, you won't need to unlock your records
before the next term and/or display your
birth certificate before the campaign or election.
There will not be a second term, guaranteed!!
Maybe if you'd not been so anxious and given
yourself more time to learn what a president
should be and do you'd have made your mark
in history. Now......................................?

Current Healthcare Reform Bill Is Evil!

I've listened to the Representatives, Senators,
Obama, doctors, liberal and conservative commentators,
and average Americans, and say what you will,
the Healthcare Reform Bill in its current state is
inherently and intrinsically EVIL!!
My advice is to SCRAP what is on the table, call a
consortium of concerned and involved individuals
and organizations, and GET IT RIGHT, or as close
as it can be - surely a lot closer than it is now!
WHO wrote this bill and its proposed amendments?
What are their qualifications? Are there "outside"
interests who are trying to "change" our country?
THIS KIND OF "CHANGE" WE CAN DO WITHOUT!
Talk about your "unAmericanism"! Telling doctors
how much they can earn? Setting fees for services
that are "equal" even if there is a great disparity
between the type and quality and necessity of
those services? Paying for abortions with MY money?
GIVING healthcare to those who are not here
legally, while reducing the support of hospitals and
patients by cutting back on Medicare subsidies?
Forcing private insurance companies to "compete"
with the government, which essentially will bring
the private sector to its knees and potentially out
of business? Limiting services? Mandating end-
of- life consultations and planning? Withholding
treatments from the aged because of their "loss
of vialibility"?
WHERE WILL IT END?
Doubling the national debt, no matter what the
proponents of the plan try to cover up? Taxing
plastic surgery, even if a necessary procedure is
performed? Paying for "sex-change" operations?
NOT WITH MY MONEY!
"The government" whoever they are, having
access to your bank accounts and medical records?
WHY? Using groups such as the suspicious ACORN
to help implement census and "informational and
instructional" programs? Exempting nonresident
aliens from individual taxes? Restrict "special
needs" patients' coverage? Businesses of various
sizes will be "taxed" (fined) for not providing health
coverage to their employees, depending on the
size of the business, not their financial stability?
Government regulation and oversight of rental and
purchase of power-driven wheelchairs? Over 88
billion dollar$ in a "Quality Standards" fund will
be partially subsidized by transfer of monies from
"other" government trust funds? Are you talking
about Social Security and Medicaid? WRONG!!
There's so much more that could be said, but I
think this one is "the kicker" - veterinarians will
be included as part of the "Public Health Workforce
Corps"! What? Health reform for animals? Huh?

Sotomayor Is Not Qualified - Let's Stop Her!

The nomination of Judge Sonja Sotomayor to the
Supreme Court of our land is a big mistake, one
of many that Obama has made in his first six
months.
Sotomayor has shown an obvious bias and disdain
for our laws and the intent of our Constitution,
by rendering decisions that have been WRONG,
as evidenced by dozens of them being reversed
in higher (appeals) courts. The most recent of
her disastrous exhibitions of misjudgement was
the case of the white New Haven, Connecticut, fire-
fighters who were denied promotions even after
proving themselves by passing an "approved"
exam, and after having proven themselves by
years of exceptional service and performance.
SHE DECIDED AGAINST THEM, which, in effect,
was deciding FOR THOSE WHO FAILED TO
PROVE THEMSELVES OF PROMOTION! Duh?!
The people who "failed" were "people of color",
largely.
Her statement that a Latina woman is more
qualified than a white man is a blatantly racial
slur against not only the other judges of our
judicial system, but of the seers that now sit
on the Supreme Court, men that is most cases
have proven their wisdom and qualifications.
I can understand the desire to have a "balanced"
Supreme Court by having another woman, and
even by wanting a minority to fill the vacancy,
but JUST BEING A MINORITY WOMAN DOES
NOT IN AND OF ITSELF MAKE ANYONE
SUITABLE!!
The scripted answers that Sotomayor gave to
the Senate panel who quizzed her were the
obvious result of weeks of coaching, tutoring,
and indoctrination in preparation for grilling.
IF YOU WERE LISTENING, you'd know that
many of her "canned" responses and explan-
ations were contrary to her record - the
decisions she has handed down over the years.
Do our Senators think that she has "seen the light"?
Has she had a "conversion experience"? Did her
tutors convince her to have a philosophical
change? Is she "different" than the person who
exhibited such discrimination and bias for the
last few years? I THINK NOT!
If, and I pray she doesn't, she gets elected, we
who are believers in the sanctity of life, the
right of Americans to defend their lives and
property, and the concept of "free speech"
will be challenged every time a case comes
before the highest court of our great nation!
The pendulum is swinging far to the left,
thanks to Obama's agenda, and the intentions
of his domestic and foreign controllers.

WHY THE RUSH TO "HEALTHCARE"?

I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV, but
I'm becoming a professional patient, what with
numerous visits to various doctors and three
"draws" at the lab in the last three weeks. Nor
am I an expert on insurance companies, medical
practices and procedures, or the inner workings
of Congress and the White House.
BUT I DO BELIEVE THAT "SOMEONE" IS IN
A HURRY TO GET LEGISLATION PASSED
THAT WILL TOTALLY CHANGE THE WAY WE
LIVE AND DIE in our great America!
From a variety of national and personal contacts
and sources, there is trepidation among an ever-
increasing number of Americans about the attempts
of Obama, socialists, and perhaps even foreign
entities to have our government control every aspect
of our public and private lives.
Answer for yourself, how is it that a man can come
into office and in his first six months create so much
alarm and fear in our citizens? What is his or his
supporters' goal? Are we better than we were before
he took office? Is the path that he's taking us onto
going to make a "change" for the better?
There seems to be a hurry to get things done without
proper deliberations and input. How did the stimulus
bill come about so quickly? How did the supposed
"Obamacare" package get composed so quickly? One
friend of mine thinks that some of these items were
"on the drawing board" or even written long ago!
Who are the authors? Where is the "transparency"
that we were promised? How idiotic for John Conyers
and others to insist that it's impossible to know
everything that's in the bill before voting on it and
passing it? WHAT WERE THEY ELECTED TO DO?
Did doctors or medical practitioners participate in
the writing? Did hospitals or nursing homes? Did
insurance companies or patients? THE AUDACITY
OF THE AUTHORS TO THINK THEY KNOW MORE
THAN THE PROFESSIONALS!!
I say lock all of Congress in a room with their copies
of the supposed "healthcare" bill, and don't let them
take "recess" or vacation until they prove that
they've read, understand, and have made the
probably numerous changes and corrections that
the bill should have "operated on"!
I'll try to address specific issues in my next
writing, hopefully before any "rush to judgment"
is finalized, but in the meantime, call, write,
fax, or see your congressman and let him know
what your/our concerns and fears are.
If you've been watching and listening, the
adoption of a social medicine program has had
many horror stories in Canada and England -
and that's what is being proposed here!
LET YOUR ELECTED SENATOR AND/OR
REPRESENTATIVE KNOW THAT HE/SHE
IS WORKING FOR YOU!! You put him/her
into office, and you and I and others can see
that they don't continue in that position!

WHAT'S ALL THIS BUZZ ABOUT "COLOR"?

I wonder, I do, if the whole scenario about the
arrest of "Professor" Gates was planned and
scripted from the start?
It's really not surprising that he acted and reacted
the way he did, having his "honor" and "credibility"
assailed as he claims, since his history is one of
dubious relationships and memberships. What is
not being said in "mainstream media" (I despise
that term) is that Gates is a disciple of
W.E.B. Du Bois, for whom the department that
Gates heads at Harvard University is named.
Du Bois, I've read, was a communist and a
socialist sympathizer - how coincidental that
Gates is a "confidant" of Obama!
While we may never know all the details and
ramifications of the arrest incident, it is not
unreasonable to believe that Gates "wears a
chip on both shoulders", having been reported
as cultivating black radicals to his race studies
department, most prominently Cornel West,
an advisor to Louis Farrakhan.
Starting to make sense? There's more.
Socialist sympathizer Kwame Appiah, a
Ghanaian, and William Julius Wilson, who is
"close" to the Democratic Socialists of America
(whoever they are, probably a growing number,
based on what's happening in the White House
and the Congress), have both been added to the
Harvard staff.
Also, Gates co-authored two books with West,
who is quoted as saying that he admired "the
sincere black militancy of Malcolm X" and the
"defiant rage of the Black Panther Party."
WHOA! Alarming and insightful, I say.
It seems to me that Professor Gates and many
others of his race are intent on continuing to
make an issue of the discrimination claims that
some say still exist. I don't deny that there are
still "pockets" of racism, but what Gates did, in
my humble but expert opinion, is an example
of "reverse racism" by acting as he did, and by
demeaning Officer Crowley, who was just doing
his job, as 99% of our law enforcement do daily.
Perhaps Gates was trying to get national public
attention. Perhaps he was just living out his
life's philosophy. Perhaps what we can learn here
is how overly sensitive some are to what they
once termed as "white oppression"? The answer
may not be simple, in fact it may be more complex
than we can imagine.
If cool heads had prevailed, especially Gates',
the whole situation had never needed to come to
the whole world's attention. SAD!
P.S. Obama only made a bigger mess of things
by interjecting his immature ranting and
accusation. Maybe he was just looking for
someone to sit and have a beer with him?

People in Washington, D.C. are starting to talk
about a "second stimulus plan", when no one
seems to know what happened to the funds from
the first stimulus!? ARE YOU KIDDING?
Our national debt is now over a TRILLION $s!
Can you cipher that? Larger than it's ever been!
How has the stimulus plan helped?
HAS THE STIMULUS PLAN HELPED ANYBODY
other than those who "took the money and ran"
straight to bankruptcy court? How many jobs
have been created? Obama promised 3 million
new jobs, remember? Where are they?
People that I talk to are disgusted, angry, and
confused, and others are so perplexed that they
don't want to talk about it, or they don't know
what to say. I'M ANGRY!! Aren't you?
The staggering figure of 787 BILLION DOLLARS
is where? Who or what has it helped? How much
of it has been doled out? I've heard only 10 %
of it went "anywhere", wherever that is.
If the $250 checks that some of who are on
Social Security and/or who filed tax returns for
last year were a part of the "stimulus", then
WHERE, OH WHERE IS THE OTHER
786 BILLION, figuring that 200 million people
got those checks?
Obama has no problems taking "junkets" with
his family to various places around the world!
Congressmen and women are still going out on
"fact-finding missions" with your and my money!
Do you remember another president taking his
family out on "dates" and "vacations" with the
money that could be helping the jobless, the
sick, the veterans who have been physically
and emotionaly wounded, and even small
businesses to survive or start up?
THERE IS NO COMPASSION IN D.C.!
THERE IS NO CONSCIENCE IN D.C.!
Let's lean on our "career politicians" to have
some sanity and good sense, and cut out all
the "pork" in our government, when millions
of our citizens are hurting - NEEDING THE
STIMULUS MONEY NOW!!

It's happening daily, right before our eyes and
ears - our precious country is being decimated
little by little, piece by piece, freedom by freedom.
Subtly and gradually, those who sit in seats of
power are changing everything about our once-
great nation, and they won't stop until all we
are is a memory.
The recent "accord" between Obama and
Medvedev of Russia only robs us of the needed
power to protect ourselves from the upstart
third-world dictators and madmen who are
obsessed with destroying us. That's only a
small part of the "puzzle" that many of us
fail or refuse to see. These subsersives won't
stop until we are annihilated or made slaves
of their demonic regime(s).
Weaken our defenses, stretch our military
beyond its proper capabilities, apologize to
our self-proclaimed enemies of Arab and
Muslim governments, disarm our citizens,
take over our manufacturing facilities, assume
control of the financial industry, control the
internet, limit the amount of energy each
person or family unit uses, "bug" our
communications, and stifle free speech and
dissent.
Sound familiar? Sound like America?
Never.
I'm convinced in my heart and mind that the
forces behind the actions being taken both
nationally and globally are meant to bring
about the demise (death) of our country.
The current government wants total control!
Sound familiar? Sound like America?
Never.
But the odds are against us. IF WE DON'T
SOON BEGIN TO STAND UP, SPEAK UP,
AND VOTE OUR CONSCIENCES, we will be
"accessories to the crime" of the ages - the
death of America!
We know we can't trust Russia. They haven't
changed from the same people who have broken
every treaty we've ever signed with them. Duh!
And what do we do when we suddenly find
ourselves attacked from various directions, as well
as the attacks that we are suffering within?
LISTEN! Hear the voices of Glenn Beck, Michael
Savage, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Newt
Gingrich, Bill O'Reilly, and others who are, like
modern-day Paul Reveres, "sounding the alarm"!!
Learn what's happening in the House of Repre-
sentatives, the Senate, the Oval Office, the
Cabinet. Notice the innuendos. Read between
the lines and interpret the mean-spirited,
hell-bent directions we're being taken into.
Call or write your legislators. Call or write the
White House. I've done so often, and will continue.
HOPEFULLY, IT'S NOT TOO LATE!!

GIVING PROPER HONOR TO OUR MILITARY

It's "Freedom Day", as I like to label it, and we
who are still free owe a continuing debt to every
woman and man who has served in any capacity
in our military's ranks.
Having only served in "the Lord's army", I can
only imagine the privations and costs that these
true American patriots endure to maintain and
preserve the quality of life that I fear you and I
take for granted too often.
For example, to have to be away from one's
loved ones, both family and friends, for an extended
period of time must take an emotional toll on our
precious guardians! To be away for so long, not
seeing, hearing, touching those who we value and
love most has got to be traumatic. Those of us
who have never endured such stress need to pray for
and support our troops with our letters and gifts.
It doesn't matter where they are, or what their
MOS (job description) is, they have surrendered
the daily privileges that you and I take for granted,
namely sleeping in our own beds, having a choice
of breakfasts, going to school or work or club,
watching our favorite TV shows, reading the
newspapers or magazines that we prefer, etc.
AT WHAT COST FREEDOM?
Those precious souls that are on the front lines
of battle face even more sacrifices than those
listed above. Fearing injury or loss of their lives
daily! Obeying orders that they may not like
or understand or agree with. Being asked and
expected to take the lives of other human beings
that may or may not be their (our) enemies!
Seeing their comrades suffer the stress of the
war, not only from physical harm, but the
invisible emotional damage that will affect them
for their entire lives, and that has caused many
(thousands we've been told) to take their own
lives.
OH, THE HELL OF WAR!
Heat. Dirt. Sand. Sweat. Limited foods. Cots
or bunks to sleep on, if indeed they can sleep.
Noise of artillery and rifle fire. Enemies all
about, with the closest "friends" being your
fellow-soldier who lives in daily fear just as you
do! Limited contact with home and the rest of
the world. Uncertainty about your next day,
hour, minute, assignment! Wearing clothes
longer than you want to, shaving less often than
you've been used to, bathing and applying
body scents and deodorants infrequently.
AND WE TAKE THEM FOR GRANTED!
We must honor them. We must lift them up
in prayer daily! We must show them respect
when we pass them on the street or sit near
them in a public or private place! We should
send letters, cards, emails, and gifts as the
occasion presents itself. Phone calls and
pictures must help if we get the chance to
do so.
OUR MILITARY HAVE SAVED US TO
CELEBRATE ANOTHER "FREEDOM DAY"!
America is a great nation, and has been since
its inception. Let's hope, fight, and pray that
she stays GREAT! In spite of problems within
and troubles without, we still have a large
majority of the populace that loves its country,
and who do not want us to lose those precious
rights and blessings that we've enjoyed for
233 years!
Freedom of speech! Freedom of assembly!
Freedom of worship! Freedom to bear arms!
Freedom to vote! Freedom of ownership!
EVERY GOD-GIVEN FREEDOM THAT HAS
BEEN OURS IS BEING THREATENED, AND

Who Are "The Powers" Behind The Scenes?

Mystery and mystique surround Obama and the
current trends to perform plastic surgery on the
face of America. Is he the "Anti-Christ"? Is he

the international forefront and situates him
to a position that no other man or woman has
ever assumed, not even the emperors of the
Roman, Persian, or other well-known empires.
Is this Obama's destiny? Is this our fate?
Many have hinted about the possibilities of
a united world with a single leader in control,
and I don't doubt that this goal is in some
people's agenda, but let's hope not soon.
The political and international casual observer
can "sense" the direction that our globe is
heading - Universalism! One government,
one currency, one food supply, one language(?),
and oppression galore from the power-hungry
brokers that sit in dark, secret places.
How much do you know about the Bilderbergers?
Ask Tim Geithner, maybe he'll fill you in, though
I doubt it. How much power does the World Bank
have over international finance and trade and
governments? Who are the members of the
Trilateral Commission, and what is their role in
this plot? Do the secret societies of the various
"knight" groups, the Masons, or other such
exclusive bodies have interests and influences
that we may be frightened or alarmed to learn about?
Many of us who are patriots, conservative, and
traditional Americans believe that Obama is
not acting entirely on his own, maybe not at
all on his own, but that the financiers and people
in positions and power that invested millions
of dollars into his campaign, and who greatly
influenced the overwhelming attention that
was given Obama by the mostly-liberal media
are the very individuals who are "running the
show" behind the scenes, with their diabolical
and selfish motives.
The ultimate intent, as we see it, is to weaken
the strength and ability of our citizens, as well
as our resolve, making us vulnerable to any
"takeover", whether within our own nation's
ranks, or from whichever outside forces move
in to assume power within our borders.
Can their evil intentions be halted? Yes! Will
they be? IT DEPENDS ON YOU AND I, MY
FRIEND, WHO NEED TO QUESTION, VOTE,
OPPOSE, AND GENERALLY STAND UP FOR
OUR COUNTRY'S TRADITIONAL STANDARDS
AND VALUES!!

Obama "earns" an "F"/What would John do?

A number of people prophesied that Obama would
"be tested" during his first few months in office,
Vice President Joe Biden not the least of those
seers.
THE TESTS ARE TAKING PLACE NOW - On
the order of "final exams", with a lot at stake,
basically the future of the free world and free
peoples, including democracy.
Just minutes ago Ahmadinejad, the despotic ruler
of Iran, threatened our country with serious
consequences if we don't back off and let him
and his henchmen run their country the way
they want to. Sound familiar? Does Sadam Hussein
come to your memory?
"The messiah" (lower case on purpose), being the
diplomat that he thinks he is, has done nothing more
than talk, talk, talk. No appeal to the U.N. about
the Iran or North Korea situations or threats. No
interception of the boat that's thought to be laden
with warheads. No sanctions against either regime
for their diabolical tirades and threats to "wipe the
U.S. off of the map".
Our military might is being stretched almost beyond
its capacity, and both of these "devils" know that,
feeling that we do not have the power, resolve, or
character to stop their evil intentions.
What's wrong with a U.N. supervised recount of
the Iran votes? What's wrong with a U.N. sponsored
re-vote? How many Iranians have to be hurt, maimed,
or killed before sane minds order a cessation to the
madness? If so many are protesting, marching,
and willing to sacrifice their personal safety in
an effort to right the situation, shouldn't we be
taking notice? Just how many votes were cast?
What were the "winning" and "losing" numbers?
Methinks that Obama has "hit the wall". He has
no rhetorical solutions to the current crises.
THE TESTS ARE NOW - HE'S FAILING - "F"!!
So we wonder - what would John McCain do if
he had been elected President? What do you
think?
Embargo. Blockade. Flotilla. Sanction. Movement
of troops. Call an emergency session of the U.N.
Air surveillance. Satellite filmings. STERN
VOCAL WARNINGS, and not "pussyfooting"!!
The weak, inexperienced, confused, and probably
frightened Obama is in over his head, and he does
not know what to do!! His advisors and staff are
too concerned with healthcare reform (subject of
another blog), stimulus plans (are you better off
than you were a year ago?), global climate
control (it's probably too late to make changes
that matter - see my new spiritual blog - "UPLIFT"
for more about that soon), catering to illegals,
and disarming our country's citizens (which I've
already addressed) than they are securing the
future existence of the U.S.A.!
WE HAVE MANY REAL ENEMIES, AND NOT
JUST THE GERMANY AND JAPAN OF TIME
GONE BY - THESE ENEMIES ARE MORE IN
NUMBER, LOCATION, AND MEANS OF
ATTACK THAN THE WORLD HAS EVER KNOWN!
It's time for Obama to "man up", take some
difficult but necessary actions, or step out of the
way and let a "real American" take over (I also
wrote about that previously, as have and are
many others).

ARE YOU A CONSERVATIVE, MODERATE, OR LIBERAL?

Kudos to the California Supreme Court for its
decision to respect the vote of its state's citizens
and deny "same-sex" marriages' legality.
Every culture and empire since the beginning of
time has considered "one man-one woman" to be
the NORM for marriage. While there were those
who allowed multiple wives, there were still
no allowances or acceptances of people of the
same gender being "united in marriage".
Being one of the centers of liberalism (Wisconsin
being the other), one would expect that the Calif.
"gay" lobby would be winners, knowing as to
that the capital of entertainment is in this
state. Politicians of the "gender-bending" sort
have made more than their share of noise over
the last few decades, all in the effort to erode any
opposition to their "lifestyle". The battle continues,
as I've already written, and will go on until they
get their agenda passed, a major step to the
ultimate ruination of mankind and society as we
have known it, and as God has designed it.
All this begs the question, "Are you a conservative,
a moderate, or a liberal?".
Here, in a novices' attempt at defining, and based
on my years of limited involvement, are my
definitions/interpretations of the "castes" or
"classes" of political camps or viewpoints:
CONSERVATIVES: By the very definition of the
word, these are people who are hesitant and
careful to act or initiate policies until they are
thought out or thoroughtly discussed.
CONSERVATIVES, generally speaking, are for
limited government; support public initiatives
for social programs; are watchdogs of government
expenditures; tend to be fiscally responsible;
believe in and practice Judeo/Christian morality
and lifestyles; practice their religious beliefs;
want accountability for illegals; seek to fix the
problems in government; are family oriented;
trust America's citizens to be responsible gun-
owners; covet the heritage and continuation of
our country's pride and principles; speak to
protect our right-to-be; value life from its onset
to the grave; want health care to be policed in
hospitals, doctors, insurance companies, etc.;
are savvy, knowledgable, and respectful, even
when critiquing others; are "cool under fire"
concerning our national interests; and desire
sane, intelligent discussions.
LIBERALS are quick to rush to judgment or
action, based on emotions or personal wants
at the time of decision. They are "liberal"
with their thinking and acting.
LIBERALS: like BIG government, much like
the "big brother" concept of socialists and
communists regimes; love to spend money, even
if there is no money to spend and they have to
"manufacture" dollars; don't care about our
children's or grandchildren's future when they'll
have to bail us out for our lack of fiscal insight;
practice their "religion" when it's politically
expedient to do so, otherwise it's not an issue
or a subject to bring up; belong to traditional,
liturgical, "apostate" religions/churches who
have no real moral teachings or practices - a
"form of religion" as the Bible mentions; want
amnesty for the lawbreakers who have broken
our borders; are quick to assign blame to others;
believe that immorality or breaking of marriage
vows don't matter (Kennedy, Hart, Clinton, Edwards,
et al); liberals want to severely limit the possession
of firearms for decent people who desire them for
sport or personal protection; would readily meld
us into "the new world order"; apologize for taking
the necessary means to protect ourselves; have no
problem taking life from conception on into any
stage (which will eventually result in euthanasia
and "mercy killings"); don't care about preserving
"the American way"; would "nationalize" our
health care, resulting in socialized medicine, ie.
lower quality care, denied treatments, and limited
access;, elect or appoint based on personality not
experience; are easily angered, vengeful, insulted;
can't handle criticism, opposition, or different
points of view.
MODERATES have personality conflicts! Ha-Ha.
Seriously, if you agree with half or more of either
overall definitions above, you are a "conservative"
or a "liberal". There's nothing sinful about having
differences or agreements with either of the "poles".
Just believe what you believe, be convinced of
your stance, be thoughtful about your positions
and not just emotional.
JESUS said, "Will I find faith on the earth when
I return?". I wonder. Our civilization has drifted
or sped so far from what He taught that the
ultimate question is - Are you a Christian or an
infidel? Do you believe in, have you accepted,
and are you living for the Saviour? Have you
asked for and received forgiveness for you sins?
Politics aside, the most important issue that
each of must decide is - Where will I spend eternity?

WHO DECIDES WHAT "THE RULES" ARE?

Brace yourself, I'm asking you to recall in your mind
the vivid pictures of 9/11. Did you see the planes striking
the World Trade Center Towers? Did you see the damage
done to our nation's defense center, the Pentagon. Can
you recall the phone messages sent from Flight 93 over
the Pennsylvania countryside?
Let's get more graphic, please. Picture the clouds of smoke
and debris emanating from downtown New York City's
two commerce center landmarks. Were you able to see
any of the people who weren't done in by the smoke or
flames who jumped to their deaths? We should never
forget the scenes of people running for their lives, as
the emergency crews rushed to the site in a futile effort
to rescue people - Americans!
We lost about 3,000 of our precious countrymen and
women that day! That would be akin to destroying the
entire population of the area in which I currently live!
This day and its cataclysmic events were only the
"tip of the iceberg" in the history of the enemies of
freedom, democracy, and Christianity as we Americans
have been blessed to know it and live it.
Let's not forget the hostages that have been taken,
tortured, and killed - Americans! Let's not forget the
embassies that have been attacked and bombed - American!
Not all of the maniacally-caused disasters were caused
by Muslim extremist terrorists, but they were all the
plots of madmen and women whose ideologies did not
prohibit them from causing deprivation, pain, or death
to those who they considered their enemies.
Mr. Obama, who somehow managed to get himself
elected to be the President of the United States despite
his naivete and lack of experience, has been making
apologies to the peoples of the world for the efforts that
we have undertaken to protect and defend our nation
and its people from further diabolical attacks. He has
made reference to "the rule of law" among other things,
casting aspersions on those who were in the frontlines
during those crisis days, almost as if he would have done
a better job. HUH! I doubt it very much.
For one thing, he was a young, somewhat inactive
Illinois state senator at the time, teaching "law" at the
Chicago Law School. What law? Whose law? He wasn't
even in his United States Senate seat long enough to be
knowledgeable about international relations and problems.
He only spent about 1 1/2 years in that position, the rest
of the term he was out campaigning at our expense!
He scolds our nation's leaders for their "unlawful and
inhumane" tactics when they frantically tried to get as
much information as possible in as quick a manner as
they could, to stop our enemies in their tracks. He talks
as if he is an expert on interrogation and "torture". He
apologizes to our enemies for the necessary means we
had to take to protect freedom and democracy. Talk
about AUDACITY! Try IGNORANCE! ARROGANCE!
What would he do? Slap the killers with velvet gloves?
Challenge them to blank-filled dueling pistols? Sit down
and have dinner with them to try to discover why they
are "disgruntled"? What "rule" or "law" did the kid-
nappers follow? What "rule" or "law" did the bombers
follow? What "rule" or "law" did the hijackers follow?
THEY HATE US!! How much plainer can it be? THEY
ARE DETERMINED TO ERADICATE US FROM THE
FACE OF THE EARTH! THEY HAVE A "JIHAD" AGAINST
US! They think we are their "holy" enemies! To them
we are "pagans", "heathen", deserving of death!
I surmise that Mr. Obama says the things that he does
to make himself look good. After all, he has been called
"the Messiah". (Apologies to our Lord and Saviour,
Jesus Christ.)
If you had an intruder in your house, what would you do,
fellow-American? Would you ask him to wait a minute
while you consulted the "rules of law" book? Would you
apologize for being at home to limit his access to your
belongings.
NO APOLOGIES!! NO EXCUSES!! NO EXPLANATIONS!!
Maybe that should be our country's new motto? Let's all
order T-shirts with similarly-styled messages on them!
The reason for the "detainees" in prison at Guatonamo
was that they had given evidence of their involvement
in either the 9/11 disasters, or similar plots that were
being hatched. THE ONLY "RULES" THAT NEEDED TO
APPLY IN THAT SITUATION WERE THOSE THAT
GUARANTEED OUR SURVIVAL!!

DO YOU HEAR THE CHILDREN CRYING?

Life is precious! Human life is unique. It's a blessing
to be given the opportunity to live this life that we've
been given! I hope you agree. Aren't you glad that
your parents gave you life? Of course, God is the
Creator of life, but your parents chose to birth a
child, thus you were born.
I'd be foolish to say that life is always a bed of roses,
but at the same time, at least for most of us, there
are myriads of reasons to "count our blessings"!
What if.........you'd never been born? We wouldn't
have had the privilege of knowing you! What if...
many of the men and women of our race had been
"opted out" before being allowed to live?
Can you imagine a world without Galileo, Morse,
Martin Luther, Shakespeare, Marconi, Edison,
or Jesus Christ? What if their mothers had "taken
the easy way out" and had them aborted? OUCH!!
Have you ever seen stills or videos of a baby in
the womb? AWESOME! The miracle of life from
the moment of conception is just that - A MIRACLE!
To witness their little limbs, hands, feet, facial
features and more develop is a sight to behold.
It humbles you. It amazes you. It delights you.
I have seen pictures, too, of "fetuses" or
"embryos" being killed, and that's frightening!
To think that humans could be animalistic to
the point of having total disregard for their
developing young. UGH! It's awful! To think
that some devalue the very precious gift that
God has given us - a new life - to the point of
causing pain and death!
Many a woman has been fooled by doctors,
advisors, and programs into thinking that she
can cover up the results of her "unwanted
pregnancy" by just destroying it! HOW CAN A
HUMAN DO THIS TO ANOTHER HUMAN LIFE?
The consequences and evidences of our immoral
society are being "trashed" daily by money-hungry
practitioners who care only for the profit that they
can accumulate!
ABORTION IS WRONG!!
God created life, He sustains life, He gave us the
responsibility to maintain life, and anything less
than that is a violation of one of His chiefest
instructions - "Thou shall not kill.". Jeremiah was
told by God that he was known BEFORE he was
even "formed in the womb"!!
HOW MUCH MORE DOES GOD KNOW THE
BABIES THAT ARE ALREADY IN THE WOMB?!
We have to come to a sane, mature, responsible
decision concerning this subject. If we don't our
society will suffer greatly, and in fact is already
reaping God's displeasure.
LIFE IS PRECIOUS!! Don't destroy it! Find a
way to continue it by accepting responsibility for
your actions (sins?), raise the child or adopt him
or her to a loving family. DON'T HAVE MURDER
ON YOUR CONSCIENCE!!
Mr. Obama wants "dialogue" about this subject.
Does he want to mesmerize those who disagree with
him on this issue? Or is just his way to delay having
to show his true misperceptions? It doesn't matter,
GOD IS PRO-LIFE, and so am I!! I would hate to
be counted in the camp of those who are "pro-death".

CONCLUSION THAT HE DOES NOT "KNOW" THE
PERSON JESUS CHRIST. I DON'T RECALL ONCE
THAT HE UTTERED "GOD BLESS YOU" OR EVEN
MENTIONED "GOD" OR "JESUS" IN ANY OF HIS
APPEARANCES.
THIS BRINGS ME TO THE ONLY SUMMATION THAT
INTELLIGENCE CAN AFFORD - THAT THE MAN
WHO SAYS HE "CONVERTED TO CHRISTIANITY AT
THE AGE OF 28", DID NOT BECOME A CHRISTIAN,
BUT RATHER JOINED A LOCAL CHURCH NEARBY

DONT TAKE MY SLINGSHOT AWAY!

As a lad, one of my favorite toys was a slingshot. Actually, I
had a number of them, some handmade by myself, some
store-bought, but they were a lot of fun to play with. My
friends and I would aim at trees, tin cans we'd set up as
targets, and sometimes we'd even just shoot up into the
air, safely of course, to see how far our missiles would go.
We never shot at people or animals or houses or anything
like that, we just had harmless fun.
Did you know that "slingshotting" is a serious pasttime?
There are manufacturers of slingshots of various styles,
using NASA-inspired space or aircraft-type metals,
rubber that's been treated in a variety of ways to
enhance resiliency and endurance, and you can even
order a variety of ammunition, from BB size to those made
in musket molds, sized at .44 or .50 calibre.
You can join a slingshot organization, subscribe to a
magazine dedicated to the sport, and even participate in
tournaments, including nationals.
There are beginners, advanced, and expert models
available, even ones with "laser sights"? Huh? Prices
range from $15.95 to $29.95, with numerous accessories
offered, as well.
A slingshot, sometimes known as "shangai" or "katty" or
"catapult" (not my idea of one), have been around for
centuries, often employed in small game hunting, such as
pheasants, geese, ducks, rabbits, etc. While I've never
heard of a slingshot being used in battle or personal assault,
four 10-year olds were just suspended from a Pittsburgh-area
school for fashioning pencils, rubber bands, and tape into makeshift,
homemade "weapons", which they were using to launch paper clips
at fellow students and a teacher, hitting the teacher and 3 students,
but not doing any harm or injury.
Can you imagine being attacked by a bunch of "slingshot gangsters"
or robbers? Sure, David used a "sling" (not the same item) to do in
Goliath, but slingshots to commit crimes and do personal harm?
Sounds like a cartoon strip in the making, hey?
TO MY POINT - There are those in our society, especially in our
government and current administration, who feel that ownership
of a firearm is a dangerous proposition. These people want to
severely restrict or limit or do away with gun ownership. Using
the guise of "taking guns out of criminals' hands", or of "removing
dangerous weapons that threaten public safety", they are
proposing and planning to "disarm" the general population.
SORRY! Our God-given and constitutionally-guaranteed right
to possess and use firearms for sport or personal protection is
not one taken lightly by those of us who value our freedoms!
THOSE WHO FORGED OUR COUNTRY'S FOUNDING DOCUMENTS
realized how important and necessary it is for law-abiding, sane,
conscientious citizens to own and use their guns and rifles for
sport, hunting, or to protect our persons, families, and possessions!
If those who feel otherwise would just see to it that our current
laws were enforced, and that crimes involving guns were rigidly
and regularly punished, perhaps more harshly than now, "the
problem", as they term it, would dissipate. PUNISH THE
WRONGDOERS, not the American PATRIOTS who believe that
if you get your way, disarming the general populace will only
encourage terrorists and foreign entities who mean us ill will.
MR. PRESIDENT, MEMBERS OF CONGRESS, AND LIBERALS
IN GENERAL - DO NOT REMOVE WHAT HAS WORKED AND
WHAT HAS BEEN OUR RIGHTFUL WAY OF LIFE FOR OVER
250 YEARS!! God SAVE America!

WHAT SHOULD WE DO ABOUT "AMNESTY"?

Anyone who tackles this subject is running the risk of
going pell-mell into a hive of "killer" bees, I know, but
a sensible, logical approach to AMNESTY needs to be
taken, as so much is at risk.
First, there is the toll of human life that we, as a
"Christian" and godly nation, must, out of compassionate
hearts such as our Saviour (Jesus Christ), take into
consideration. After believing for a long time that we
should "send the illegals packing", I'm straining to
consider the ramifications, humanely speaking, of taking
such an action.
Heavens, YES, they are here against our laws and against
common sense, or so I've thought. Laws have consequences
for the lawbreakers, usually, and it is that approach that
I'm beginning to believe should best be taken. Those who
are here illegally should be made to pay a higher price or
perform tougher procedures before they can become
eligible for citizenship. After all, they have taken some of
our jobs that belong to American citizens, they have been
a drain on our welfare and healthcare systems, and they
are probably NOT paying their share of the expenses for
operating our great nation's government.
Just try to imagine the logistics of trying to send any
portion of the 8 million or so "squatters" back to their
homelands. It may be simpler and less expensive to
keep them here and patriate them! (My word.) Let's
give them a time requirement to meet before allowing
them to become citizens. Let's limit the number and
value of assets they can accumulate before becoming
citizens.
LET'S REQUIRE THAT THEY LEARN OUR COUNTRY'S
LANGUAGE - ENGLISH - BEFORE BECOMING CITIZENS!!
If they want to continue to speak their native tongue(s), fine,
but do so as a subculture, DON'T EXPECT US TO HAVE TO
LEARN OTHER LANGUAGES just to assimilate them into
our lifestyles! Haba Englas? YES!
I'm all for returning "criminals" to their homeland(s) - those
who commit crimes of any nature, whether drug trafficking,
assualts, robberies, thefts, or failing to register properly and
be liable for appropriate taxation. Our penal system is already
overburdened with inmates, a large percentage of them drug-
related, and we don't need to have to keep being taxed to take
on an even heavier tax burden!
Individuals who are sick or need health care should be given
the necessary treatment to get them well, then send them home.
The most difficult part of this problem is the children who have
been born here, which I understand makes them automatically
American citizens. Here's the conundrum: How do we absorb
these citizens into our citizenship and legally and humanely
handle the problem of their parents? Should we send them
home and allow the children to return at some point or age?
Do we require that a monetary stipulation be attached to
their wages when they enter the work force, which payment
would help to cover the costs of allowing the parents to remain
here? Should the parents be granted "provisional citizenship",
assuming that they intend to blend into our culture and make
an honest effort to "earn their keep"?
Who has the answers? Congress? The president? Any of
the state legislatures? The churches? Government departments?
NO ONE HUMAN BEING OR GROUP OF SUCH CAN PRETEND
TO KNOW THE SOLUTION, but together, with God's help, we
need to reach a civilized, humane, conscientious decision soon.

IS AMERICA A "CHRISTIAN" NATION?

I am a Christian. What does that statement mean? What
does it say to you? Are you a Christian? What is a Christian?
If one was to take a poll, a variety of responses would be
received as to the answer to that last question, so I hereby
propose to advance what some of them might be:

A Christian is a non-Jew or a non-Muslim, or a non-
member of any other organized or unorganized (dis-
organized?) religion.

A Christian is one who was reared by parents who
professed Christianity, no matter to what degree they
may or may not have practiced it.

A Christian is someone who has not been involved
in any way with any religion, assuming therefore that
he/she is a "Christian".

A Christian is a person who has been active in
attendance or who claims a local church as his or hers.

A Christian is one who has believed the Gospel
accounts of the life and person of Jesus Christ, and
consequently has accepted Him and His teachings as
the pattern for their lives.

Make sense? Any variation or combination of the
aforementioned may apply in some cases (yours?),
but I believe that this is an appropriate overview.

Why do we bother to raise the questions? Is it at
all important who Jesus is, or what He taught, or
that we have some familarity with Him? YES!!

Recently, the man who is the president of the United
States made a comment during one of his addesses
on his European trip, that "America is not a Christian
nation".....! Huh? Duh? Is he serious? He did go on
to state that we are not "Jewish" or "Muslim" , but
the die was cast for a rebuttal, and here it is:

AMERICA IS A CHRISTIAN NATION! We were
founded by God-fearing and God-honoring people
whose intent was to incorporate the principles of
the Bible, in particular the teachings of Jesus Christ,
into the fiber of government, families, and individuals.

Mr. Obama, if you had paid attention to the teachers
in your youthful education,.......oh, wait a minute, you
had a Muslim upbringing, didn't you! No wonder you
have no concept of Christianity. Sorry. (Not really.)

You "converted to Christianity" at the age of 28, while
listening to Jeremiah Wright (I won't disgrace the title
of reverend in reference to him), whose brand of
"christianity" (if you can call it that) involved the
delivering of diatribes that denounced America,
"whiteys", and numerous other subjects. For 20
years you listened to this man berate the churches,
government, and people of this great nation, and you
never said a word of disagreement! Huh!

Methinks that your so-called "coversion" was
politically motivated, as you knew (and so do
the "powers behind you") that Americans would
not elect a Muslim to the presidency. Thus, it
behooved you to expeditiously "convert" to a brand
of bastardized religion in the guise of being "one of us".

Do you look out of the windows of your limousine as
you're being driven down the street? Can you not see
the myriad of churches and synagogues as you pass
by them? They are not monuments or simply great
pieces of architecture. They are the centers of
worship, however full or active they may be, that
represent the MILLIONS OF CHRISTIANS that
are American citizens.

Granted, many who call themselves Christians are
so only by name, or only because of upbringing, but
CHRISTIANITY IS ALIVE AND WELL in the hearts,
minds, and daily living of millions of this great nations'
citizens! As long as we live and as far as we're
concerned, the United States of America has always
been, IS, and will continue to be "a Christian nation",
no matter what you or anyone else may say, or may
try to do to change our character!

Have you ever looked into the claims of Jesus Christ?
Have you ever read the Gospels? Are you familiar
with Josh McDowell's "Evidence" books that clearly,
intelligently, and very scholarly present the truths
of the prophecies and fulfillments concerning the
coming and arrival of "the Messiah"? No, I'm not
referring to you, no matter what Mr. Farrahkan said.
Jesus fulfilled dozens of prophecies concerning his
coming, had his life documented by secular as well
as religious historians, and is THE ONLY LIVING
"RELIGIOUS LEADER" who died and resurrected!

I have been seriously doubtful of your religion
ever since you declared during the "Compassion Forum"
at Messiah College that you are "pro-death" and an
"evolutionist". Not exactly your words. I intend to
speak to those two subjects on another blog, but
suffice to say that TRUE CHRISTIANS believe the
Bible which states that we were Divinely and purposely
created by God, and that LIFE is precious at any and
all stages, including in the womb, which is clearly
mentioned in THE SCRIPTURES!

I WILL DO MY BEST TO PRAY FOR YOU AND THOSE
LIKE YOU WHO OPPOSE THE TRUTH OF CHRISTIANITY
AND THE SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD, AND THE SAVING
POWER OF GOD'S ONLY SON, JESUS CHRIST!!

I AM AN AMERICAN - ARE YOU?

My birth certificate says that I was born at approximately 12:15 AM on July 15, 1940,
in Canonsburg Hospital, Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, USA. Son of Nancy Virginia O'Donnell-
Richey and Charles Wilbert Richey, Sr., the firstborn of their union. Both of my parents
were (now deceased) natural-born Americans, of Scotch-Irish and German-English
descent. Actually, a family tree done many years ago establishes me as a descendant
of a king! Whether of Scottland or Ireland, I don't recall.
Canonsburg, my birth city, may sound familiar to you, as it is also the home of some
entertainers of note, namely Perry Como, Bobby Vinton (the Polish Prince), and the
Four Coins singing group.
I'M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN! Thank God for being born here instead of some
other places where life would not have been so good, if you know what I mean. My
mother often remarked how that often as a child still in the crib, I would stand whenever
I would hear our national anthem playing. Precocious, hey? I have always felt my
heart flutter and my pride rise when seeing the flag go by during a parade or a color
guard presentation.
I'M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN! My country has come to the rescue numerous
times during my lifetime, to help the needy, nurse the sick, rescue the perishing, and
to intervene when injustices were being perpetrated upon innocent and helpless peoples.
I'M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN! I love saying the pledge of allegiance, singing
partiotic songs, honoring our military, and visiting historical sites where our freedoms
were bought and fought for.
I'M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN! I've seen the "amber waves of grain", the "purple
mountains' majesty", the "fruited plains", and many of our nations' "shining seas", and
I've been awed by their beauty and grandeur!
ARE YOU AN AMERICAN? Whether born here or naturalized by becoming a citizen,
I pray that you appreciate the blessings you've been given by God to live in this great
country. And if you're not yet a citizen, you would do yourself a favor by taking the
steps to become one, enjoying the full privileges of what few other peoples can claim.
To my point - the person now residing in the White House has refused to provide proof
of his nationality and birth. Repeated requests by numerous individuals have been met
with either deaf ears or curious attempts to ridicule why anyone would question his
origin. He claims to have been born in one Hawaiian hospital, while his sister stated that
he was born in a different Hawaiian hospital. His paternal grandmother is reported to
have been in the room in Kenya when he was born. A "Certificate Of Live Birth" has
circulated, which is nothing more than a legal instrument to enable one to apply for
a driver's license, or do any of a number of legal activities - it is not the same as a
"Birth Certificate"!
All of the suspicion and questions could be easily put to rest if he would only come
forth and display his actual, legal, American birth certificate, that is, if indeed such a
document exists! Mr. President, prove yourself!

An inspiration from God, I trust, to speak about the many issues that so many of the
silent American citizens cannot, will not, or do not know how to express their hearts,
minds, and desires concerning what has taken place in our great nation, what is
transpiring now, and what we hope, pray for, and expect for the years, decades, and
generations to follow.

Having agonized lately over political, social, and religious developments in and
behind the news, it is my intent to comment carefully on those things that most
affect and worry my fellow citizens, and myself.

Your thoughts, input, and prayers are most welcome, as I make an effort to make
a difference for those who need things to be different, which, I believe, is most of us.

My hope and prayer is that I will, indeed, be one who "speaks for true Americans"!!
